Their menu was as to be expected to be a bit different from other Playa Cabanas in the city. The shrimp was AMAZING, the chicken and the rice were flavourful and our cocktail was delicious. We just got rushed twice now which I don't understand why! our in and out is 30 min both times and we got the bill after we finished our last bite without asking! if I'm spending almost $100 I might like to seat for an hour and enjoy my time with the people I came in.

Upscale costs but worth the price. The fish tacos were great, as was the carnitas plate. Small menu overall but that is a sign of making good food.

I was not really impressed by this restaurant. Seems like the standard upscale Mexican food with nothing that made it stand out or made me want to go back. Food / service was okay but it was very expensive for what it was.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The tacos were delicious and the margaritas were top-notch. The service was also excellent - our server was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Mexican food and drink experience.

Honestly, knowing that I can get tacos that are cheaper has made me a little sceptical with going to places like this. But wow. This place has to be the greatest Mexican food of Toronto that is fine dining. The food is astonishing and exquisite. Keep it up

It was an excellent Mexican bar; alas, the food menu was very limited. The tacos were great, and I liked that they had my favorite beer available, Negra Modelo. A bid downside is how pricey this place was.

Very on brand with the other mas playas spots. Food was amazing, the crispy beef tacos were the stand out. Pitchers of margarita are always a good way to get a night out going. Nice space, busy on a Friday night, good vibe.

Extremely overpriced, not worth the hype . Yes place looks cool inside but that’s all . Tacos were very average and definitely not worth the price . Margaritas were also okay but definitely not worth the price either . Staff wasn’t the nicest either we got a guac to start (btw the smallest 15$ guac I have ever seen) and then they just took my order for tacos and my friend wasn’t even asked if she was going to order food the girl just left . When we got the attention all she did was roll her eyes and give us attitude like gurl you stormed off . I’m surprised of all the 5 star reviews…makes me think some people haven’t tried real authentic mexican food cause this is not it . Also they claim to be authentic mexican food but real mexican food doesn’t have spice in their tacos you add it to your liking so it was a big surprise getting the carne asada and was extremely spicy . Tbh save your money and go somewhere else .

Fish tacos were too greasy…Even the chicken taco’s tortilla was deep fried which was unnecessary.Nachos were a huge disappointment . it literally had only 6 chips? Seriously?Lobster tostada for $19 seemed toooo pricey for the quantity that was served.Won’t be returning to this place again.
