I was not going to write a review, however after reading the reviews below I did feel like its important to share our experience with Dr. Cusimano.Dr. Cusimano has saved my uncles life. My uncle was having issues with his health and we were doing all the testing we could to find out what is happening. During our search with the help of Dr. Cusimano referring us to other specialist. He saw on one of the test that there was something odd and send us for further testing. Had we not heard from him so quickly my uncle would no longer be here. After the surgery was completed and we had a follow up with Dr. Cusimano. He took his time to speak to us and answer any questions or concerns we may have. He was extremely supportive and made sure my uncle was happy leaving him with all his questions answered. It makes me super upset seeing these bad reviews and yet no one write a actual good experience they have with him.

I have been with Dr. Cusimano since he took over from my previous doctor at this office, +20 years or so and I have always had a great experience here. Whether over the phone or at the office, talking to the friendly reception staff, the nurses or Dr. Cusimano himself. Clean wait room, clean office rooms and wonderful service/advice.

Made an account just to post this. I hate this doctor’s office, they treat your medical problems like a joke. The lady at the counter is rude and seems offended if you god forbid try to talk to her. I’ve been trying to get in touch to speak with my doctor about a serious medical issue for YEARS, and nothing literally nothing

Dr. Cusimano is great, but it seems the clinic is very poorly run. Getting ahold of the clinic is nearly impossible for one. Second, the receptionist acts like she's annoyed whenever you call and can be pretty rude for no reason. Lastly, whenever I request to refill my important prescription, they don't get back to me or the pharmacy. I just sit waiting for days, which leaves me without my medication. I specifically am not allowed to request this medication early, so what am I supposed to do?I'm going to be looking for a new doctor because I feel like they don't care.

If I could give them a zero I would. These people have already given me my kids vaccination records but DIDN’T label them. So now they want to get paid for MY CHILDRENS records THAT DOESN’T even belong to them they were given them because the old doctor retired. I live an hour away and have small kids. They don’t care that children will get suspend or that I have to take time off work. Nope they just care about making money even though they make more money an hour than most people. Shame on you.

I switched to this doctor’s office two years ago after my beloved old doctor retired. I didn’t have much choice in picking a new family doctor since I needed a new one urgently, so I had no idea what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised from day one. Maddie (sp?) at the reception was my first point of contact and she is always so sweet and helpful. Just exchanging a couple of words with her honestly makes me feel so calm and respected. Dr. Cusimano himself seems very knowledgeable and thorough. He asks questions and listens to your answers. The nurses are fantastic! Compassionate, gentle, they give great advice.I recently saw one of the doctors there (can’t remember her name) for a suspected sinus infection. I asked for antibiotics and she thoroughly explained to me why I do NOT need them and instead prescribed a nasal spray. I was really thankful for her explanation which made perfect sense, and my condition is now so much better.I definitely lucked out switching to this office exactly when I did (early pregnancy, during covid).PROS:- For a very busy office, these guys are incredibly organized and on top of things.- Neat, clean, large waiting room.- Neat, clean exam offices, no weird odours, plenty of brochures, nice decor. This may seem insignificant, but it’s actually nice when you’re sitting in one of the rooms waiting to be seen to not just stare into a boring white wall.- Knowledgeable staff.- Same day appointments are often available and I am so grateful that both my baby and myself were seen same day for semi urgent issues.- Maddie the receptionist is honestly a sweetheart and I wish there were more receptionists like her. How she manages to always have a smile on her face when I talk to her is a mystery to me.- It is hard to get through the phone, but not impossible. And voice messages do get returned. For all of you complaining of never being able to get through, it sounds like you think you’re the only patient ever calling that office. I worked at doctors’ office before, and let me tell you, the reception is a mad house. Hundreds of phone calls every day, not just from patients but from other doctors’ offices, pharmacies, other third parties. And then you get, for lack of a better word, idiots who want to tell you their life stories over the phone and complain about insignificant things. Please try and have some understanding for the reception. It is NOT their fault the phones are so busy, and if you feel a little rushed on the phone sometimes, it’s because they also have other patients to attend to.CONS:- There is only street parking available and sometimes it’s hard to find a spot, but it’s free.- I love that this office is a “teaching” office, meaning there are resident doctors there most of the time. However, a couple of those resident doctors I saw were kind of useless. One did a well baby check for my one year old and wasn’t able to answer a single question I had asked her. She did mention that it was her first well baby check. The other resident doctor asked me what kind of prescriptions I wanted for a couple of issues, which is never for the patient to fully decide, in my opinion. One of the medications he prescribed is not at all what I needed, and the other one he sent to the pharmacy with hardly any directions on how to use it.

Dr Cusimano is one most experienced and knowledge physician, i have met. He is extremely smart and diligent to his work. Given the amount of patients he took over from other doctor. He actually cares about you and listens to you. Always gives great advice and explains things to you, so you can understand. Maddie at the front desk is awesome! always helpful and compassionate. This is an awesome group of people that deal with high volume of patients, and do a great job. Thank you for taking my parents and looking after them. I am so happy to have you as the Family Doctor.

We have been seeing Dr. Cusimano for some time now. We are very comfortable with him. He never rushes you out and always takes the time to listen to you and takes care of your needs. Our other Doctor retired and Dr. C. took us both on as new patients, on top of his own patients. We are very pleased to have him as our Doctor. Couldn't be happier.!

Some days getting through to someone on the phone is a ridiculous battle and then you have a rude receptionist who has zero bedside manner. People don’t call the doctors for fun. Some people are going through health issues whether it be mental or physical and then when you have a snarky receptionist (pretty sure she’s the red head as I’ve seen her and can recognize her snippy tone) calling is less fun. Then you have “same day appointments only” but you realize people work or have children they have to work around, right? And THEN we aren’t supposed to go to walk in clinics or the doctor will drop us but try picking up the phone and having nicer receptionists. I see so many complaints about this receptionist but yet nothing is done about her. Makes me wonder if the doctor even truly cares at all. It’s like you guys know how hard it is to get a doctor and you just don’t care. Horrible way to run an office.

The receptionist at the Parkdale office is a she-devil. She’s rude, abrupt and should not be allowed to speak to people and get paid for it.When I called and asked her why I did not receive at call for my appt (3 hours after the scheduled time) she scolded me like a child and hung up on me.Jackie at the Dundas office is wonderful, kind and patient.
