Lots of variety food, the place is ok however I prefer take out. BQQ Chicken and roasted potatoes are my favourite !

I was in Kitchener for Business and a bit early for my flight, decided that I was either going to have a Bifana or Prego, that's Pork or Beef loin sandwich.To my surprise the lady pulled two slices from a broth of sauce and put in between the two sides of a Portuguese bun (papo-seco) to my surprise there were two large half sides of onion that had been cooked on the broth.Well.. the meat was very onion tasting, the bread was very soggy .I didn't finish my beer as I needed to reach my luggage and swish some mouth wash.I have made and served 1000's of these since 1972 never in my life was I faced with this scenario .The secret in any dish is moderation in the spices or add on,sThat made for an awful experience.They need to look up the recipe for a Bifana in either Mestre Cozinheiro or Panta Gruel .On the positive, the place was clean, the young ladies were polite and the beer was cold, also the chicken that was grilling in the rotisserie looked appetizing.I Joined the hotel School at Hotel Eva, Faro and worked at the Hotel Vasco da Gama in My. Gordo and have worked in 5 star hotels in Europe and Canada .Today I'm I'm an Entrepreneur in the IT Industry CEO of my IT Co. for 38 years .

First visit to this bakery. Came all the way from Guelph and was impressed. The Beefana was amazing, and the Natas were probably second, best only to the ones I get from a friends bakery in Bradford. I highly recommend trying both options. Service was top notch, and staff are super friendly.

Ordered a BBQ chicken for 8pm today. My God they cook it on charcoal first off. Second the flavor is magnificent. And the third the sauce is holy wow ! They were having live music which was amazing to have a beer and wait for my fresh bbq chicken. Rock on !

Always can rely on amazing food here. However the service is painfully slow, and almost makes it not worth it. Carve out a fair amount of time if coming.

You can tell the love that goes into the business. The food is spectacular. I've tried a few things now and loved every one of the. Seasoned perfectly. Half chicken platter was fabulous and the chicken parm sandwich will feed you at least a couple times. The service is on another level. Everyone is exceptionally friendly and inviting.

Excellent bakery. Lots of options. The mains look great so I plan on trying those next. Seems like a nice family restaurant set up. Cute patio area too. Can’t wait to go back and try their chicken! I’ve heard great things

The treats I got were fresh and had a decent level of sweetness, with the cheesecakes leaning towards the sweeter side. I gave the cream-filled pastries, apple cinnamon cheesecake, pecan cheesecake, and Portuguese custard tarts a shot. What I liked the most were the cream-filled pastries. However, the other items I tried were a letdown, unfortunately.The tarts had a strong eggy smell and taste that just didn't do it for me. It might be the usual deal with Portuguese custard tarts, as I've had the same experience elsewhere. I am coming to the conclusion that they're simply not my thing.The cheesecakes were okay, but the cinnamon in the apple cinnamon slice was overpowering and tasted like synthetic flavouring. Overall, I would say the bakery was average, with a standout pastry and a few misses.
