I just found three teenagers smoking the marijuana in our private condo parking lots and really concern the safety of our property. Called non-emergency phone number of YRP. Talked to the police about my concerns and was told that marijuana is legal now for those over 19 yrs persons. Felt a little bit disappointed and waited for the police finished the input of the information. After 15 mins, I got another police call to verify where those guys were. I told her that thise guy were gone and s expressed my appreciation to the police. Thank you for your response for my concerns!! Good job!!

Me and my girlfriend got into an argument I was brought here placeed the sells for 18 hours. The detectives never asked for my side of the story. Every time I try to go to sleep female officer would come in and wake me up. I confirm this when I pretended to fall asleep and made snoring sounds an officer came in and told me I had to sign paperwork. When I brought this up to one of the officers he laughed at me.They tortured me.

I just wanted to thank all of you guys working! Tonight I needed fire help and everyone came out. The first respondents were two female police officers who came in and bravely put out a whole fire extinguisher in a house filled with smoke. These ladies came before everyone and deescalated the fire. Without them, there would have been an actual big fire. To all the hard working Woman and Men among you, thank you. You guys are the core to this society and deserve more appreciation. Thank you.

We had an incident where I was in diabetic shock when the police arrived. I was going in and out of blackouts and really had no idea what was going on. My wife told police that I had never behaved the way I was, and there must be something wrong with me". Instead of taking me to the hospital I was placed in holding and was denied talking to the detectives (on camera)who told me that they had concluded their investigation. It took months to recover from this debacle. During my time in holding I took 30 units of Apidra(fast acting insulin) and was still confused and did not eat. I went to court where I still didn't eat because my blood sugar was still too high. My mind was still clouded when I left the courthouse unable to return home for over a month. I was able to prove that I was in diabetic shock in court

I never thought I'd ever be harassed and bullied as much as I have by a detective and two police officers working at York Regional.I don't know if their choice of actions in handling their situation was driven by commission or personal gain but it's really not a good feeling to help police to best of your ability and have them put you in a rock and a hard place just to watch you scramble at their mercy.I was laughed at by a detective over the phone when expressing my concerns about the court process and my calls were ignored when I called to get more information. Then after ignoring me for nearly a year they had an urgent need to contact me. All of the tools necessary to contact me where at their disposal (e-mail, phone number, et cetera) my near-retired parents were disturbed with several blocked calls at night, and finally, loud banging on their door with overaggressive, unnecessary, and unprofessional communicative measures from two officers that grilled them about my whereabouts redundantly (again after dark)--they didn't call me once, nor did they send me one e-mail.I was out of the country and called the detective for guidance and clarification of what I needed to do after their ridiculous, indirect attempt to get in contact with me. After agreeing to attend a new court date over the phone of which the receiving officer would not forward me documented proof for my employer and professors he then threatened my arrest at the border over the phone if I didn't comply.A couple days later, after being frightened for my safety by police while cooperating with police, I got a call stating that my presence was no longer needed in court and that I should ignore" a legal document that appeared to be government issued.I called the Ontario Court of Law to get documented confirmation of the annulled subpoena that was sent to me in the mail. After a brief conversation with the secretary I discovered that subpoenas are issued solely by the police and they must be delivered to you by hand and in person to be valid

I have an extreme Social anxiety disorder and attempted to ask about a few items that were illegally seized from me a year or two back. After a misunderstanding from the CHILD answering, She began to dissect my criminal record and began accusing me over the phone!! She continued to interrupt and she hid her name from me so i could not report her offensive action. If this branch really cared about people they would get in contact with me about my items, still illegally seized.
