A local cidery in Halifax. The varieties are mainly semi-sweet ciders, so be aware. There are lots of seating area inside with displays to buy to-go.

Incredible ciders at great prices! The place is nice and cozy with a good choice of tap and bottled handcrafted ciders. The patio offers a calm place to drink outside. The staff was nice, friendly and extremely helpful to chose our ciders. A must in Halifax!

Bulwark Cider House
I’ve been to Bulwark Cider House a couple times before and I really enjoy this tap room. It’s a small space, usually quiet when I’ve been in. There is a wide selection of Bulwark’s ciders. There is always something interesting to try. On this occasion I had their Rum Cider, pictured. I received a generous pour and it was quite tasty.I’m of the opinion this place doesn’t get the recognition it deserves! On the way other hand I’m somewhat happy that’s the case because it gives me a nice place to pop in for a drink and think. If you’re looking for the same this is one of the best places you could go.

I love bulwark ciders and happy to be able to find all different flavours and new flavours there. My boyfriend also got the rum that he loves but couldn’t find at NSLC for very long time. Definitely it’s the place we will come frequently to check some new flavours or new sets! ❤️

Bulwark Cider House
Delicious hard ciders with lots of various flavors to pick from. Great atmosphere that is very laid back and very conducive to studying or having a casual chat. Their original is a great standard cider, but we also really enjoyed their Gold Cider which has a sparkling sweetness that perfectly contrasts the usual dryness.

Bulwark Cider House
Bulwark Cider House has both a store and a sit in area where you can order a flight of their ciders or individual glasses of ciders. A few 4-person and 2-person tables were available throughout the small shop. Quite a chill spot and the ambiance is good to bring a date. They serve pizza on certain nights which is a plus if you’re hungry at the same time. The person at the counter was able to recommend beverages that we really enjoyed and ultimately bought four bottles to enjoy. Not sure if wheelchair accessible as they have stairs leading up from the front door. Good beverages, good ambiance, and overall definitely come back again to try their other drinks.

Lovely little tucked away place. Fantastic cider and good pizza in a warm atmosphere. Sometimes they host some fun events too and student deals.Little bit of a climb if you're not great with stairs, however.

Had cider and charcuterie with my only drinking age in Canada son. Great place, atmosphere and food. Wanted to purchase some cider to bring home but realized that once I ran out I would not be able to get more.

Bulwark Cider House
Loved it here! My partner and I eat ordered a flight so we could try 8 different ciders and we liked all but one. It's a cute place - pretty small, but nice. The service was good and we will definitely be back (probably too often). Only disappointment was that we arrived after the kitchen closed, which was okay, but we couldn't even order a bowl of nuts, which I didn't understand because it doesn't seem like that would require a chef.
