I booked Sopra Sotto for a family dinner because it was on the same block as my favourite ice cream place, and it was a great choice! Only the cocktails were really pricey, all other items were an expected price for the area and cuisine. Atmosphere was nice with the patio and natural lightning and decorations. Service was alright, a little slow and absent sometimes. We tried everything from drinks, appetizer board, pizzas, pastas, cartoccio on special. The pizza and board were the highlights in my opinion, I would recommend those in your next visit.

Nice atmosphere and great service but the food is just ok. We tried the tagliatelle and the tartufata pizza. The pizza crust was nice but the flavours were mild - couldn’t really taste the truffle or the chorizo. As for the pasta, the noodles were a bit too firm for my liking and the ragu did not really stand out.

Came here for lunch on a Saturday and had such a wonderful experience. The host let us choose our table and brought us water right away. We ordered the meatballs that came with focaccia bread that was so perfect we had to order more. We got Caesar salad and the Diavola pizza. Everything was tasty.Also the environment is just so much more comfortable than all of the other Italian restaurants I’ve been to in the city. Everything felt bright and clean and modern.

Is a pretty decent place to eat. The service was good and the facilities were nice and clean. The food was good, I don't think it is anything mind-blowing, but it is good. Would recommend eating here tho.

If you're in the mood for some authentic Italian cuisine, then you have to check out this restaurant! It's one of my personal favorites, and for good reason - their pasta and pizza are absolutely delicious. But if you're looking to try something new and exciting, I highly recommend their Caserecce E Tartufo. Trust me, you won't regret it. Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who loves Italian food.

Everything was excellent. Gabriel service was great, he was super nice, he took the time to give us recommendations and to accomodate for my mother's allergies. The pizza and pasta we ordered were amazing and they came very fast.We sat next to the kitchen bar and it was a very good experience. We got to see how Jose and Rodrigo prepared our dishes to perfection. We got to talk with Rodrigo and Jose and they are super nice people.Definitely recommend!

A great location for a modern Italian restaurant with a wood fire oven!The space is clean and open and aromatic. On Sundays they have live piano music with a pianist named Bruno.The low star ratings is due to the fact that I am a little disappointed in their food.We ordered a focaccia but it was more like pizza crust in that it was thin, very hard and chewy instead of thick and soft. Usually focaccia is a dimpled, soft bread with Italian seasonings, similar to pizza bread. We also ordered the pizza and it had what seemed like the same bread base as the focaccia". /:The tagliatelle ragu is a little bland.The eggplant and homemade sausage Margarita Pizza wasn't that good... The eggplant didn't lend any interesting depth or flavor. I wish the sausage was more spiced!I tried the chili oil and it's not spicy

** Came back here a second time and sat at the bar with my little cousin, which I highly recommend because it's a super fun vibe. We got to speak to some of the staff and the bartender Steven who was super nice! My cousin had a gluten intolerance so we tried their gluten free pasta which was good. Steven was also really sweet and put together a non alcoholic drink for the both of us which tasted like a pina colada.The food here is so amazing! A friend and I shared the Caesar salad, meatballs, and carbonara. Although the carbonara was on the saltier side, it was still super delicious and authentic. The meatballs were definitely my favorite though and had really good garlic and cheese flavouring.The venue is super big with lots of seating. They also have a covered outdoor section. We sat at the bar and had some cocktails with our food. Servers were all very nice and our items came out quickly.I would definitely come back here again! Probably one of the nicer looking Italian restaurants on the drive.

I highly recommend this Italian restaurant in Vancouver - it's one of my favorites! Whether you're looking for a romantic date night spot or just a cozy meal out, this place has you covered. The option to dine in their lovely patio is also available, or you can enjoy the spacious interior.I've tried:◼ Fresh Focaccia (4.5/5)==> Highly recommend! They make their focaccia in-house and it tastes delicious with the balsamic oil.◼ Margherita Pizza (4/5)==> Can't go wrong with a classic Margherita pizza!◼ Caserecce e Tartufo (4/5)
