It's the second time I visit this place and I'm always glad. The first time in winter we had a small group and it was nice to be able to sit and chat over some drinks, I liked the signature brown sugar milk tea with oat milk and my friends had fruit teas. All great. I like that sweetness can be customised at many levels.Today I brought my own cup and got 10% off because of that, which I did not know! Ordered the roasted tea with oat milk and it's great as well.For those who are curious about the oat milk, they use Earth's Own Oat Barista, which I can't remember whether it's gluten-free, but it's perfect for milk tea.I'll come back next time I'm downtown.

Great location that is much more convenient for most people than their Somerset location. Service was fast and friendly and there’s a good selection of menu items. Seating is limited due to its small space. Decor feels warmer than the Somerset location, which makes this a cozier spot. Would highly recommend (especially since they have a grand opening promotion right now!)

Edited: I wish I could give another star for the response from Chatime below. They suggested a drink that would be better for me, according to my description on Google. Great customer service!I only remembered to take a pic after I gulped down half my drink. I got a 50% sugar brown pearl milk tea with foam, my kids got green milk tea and taro milk tea with pearls. The drink was still too sweet for me so I'm going to try 25% sugar next time. I loved the salty milk foam flavour too.We've been ordering bubble teas throughout the city lately as we've been testing out various delivery services. Chatime was the best overall so far because the other places either didn't have great flavor or the boba isn't cooked well.I especially like that we can control the sugar level of our drinks. There was a good amount of pearls too. My picture doesn't show it though.

My go to bubble tea place. I’ve lived in Asia my whole life so I know what real bubble tea is like, and this place is the real deal. I love how they’re open til 12am. I go get my little late night bubble tea fix and staff is always kind.

The most watered down milk tea I have ever had. I even told them it tasted very watered down, they remade it and just added more sugar. The tea base itself was not strong enough, I’m not sure if it’s cost saving or whatnot. Very disappointing

Decent selection of teas. I like how sweet and flavoured the tapioca pearls are. The store is really clean and the tables are spacious and ideal for studying. Toppings are extra but reasonably priced. There is an option for regular, which I like because I normally cannot finish a large. Good tea place!

Very disappointed by the customer service at this location although the guy made mistake on the drink! And the drinks he made for me and my friends yesterday were not so good. I am a Chatime Gold member and previous Elite member but I probably will not come back to this location anymore:(

Great tasting teas with more flavor and a better selection of sizes than any nearby bubble tea spots. The location is small but freshly renovated inside and looks stunning! We got Grass jelly roasted milk tea and taro smoothie and both were very flavorful and not too sweet, the boba were nice and fresh and the grass jelly was awesome and definitely something you have to try out!

Don’t know what to order? Go for the grass jelly roasted milk tea it’s a bestseller for a reason. Trust me. Reasonable preparation time and the staff is always friendly, also in a great location just outside of Rideau Mall. Inviting place to take a rest and relax or drop by! (I’m also a huge fan of taro).
