Love this place! Been here a number of times over the past few years and they are consistent with delicious food and great service. I've never eaten anything here I didn't like and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. They also have some great gluten-free options. Love the Thai yam soup! And the cakes, muffins, energy bars, cookies, etc. Only complaint is that they close early (3 pm) so I could only hit them if I finished work early.

stopped on our way through Merritt for lunch and will definitely be back! we raved about this meal for about 20 minutes after we got back on the road. was super busy when we walked in and even so, the three of us were in&&out and stuffed in 45 minutes for under $40

Stopped in for a late lunch on Canada Day. First time visit, and the food is so amazing. Bought some of the sourdough bread for later, but couldn't wait and had a couple slices while we waited for our sandwiches. I had the muffeletta and my partner had the apple and brie; both on the same sourdough with good coleslaw on the side, and a shared bottle of nearby Left Field Cider's Joe Shack rhubarb apple cider. Dessert was a gluten free hazelnut chocolate meringue roulade and a Nanaimo bar cheesecake. Bought another slice of roulade and chocolate velvet cake to go, plus a chocolate and BC cherry scone. Highly recommend.

Best place in Merritt to eat. Fresh bread and other baked goods are pretty delicious. Family friendly with a simple country vibe.

Excellent Coffee Shop, Bakery, and Sandwich and Soup Eatery. It is Worth the Stop in Town to come Here. If you are from Out oF Town like me there is No reason to Stop in the Tourist Trap near the Highway. This Place is in Downtown Merritt and it is Excellent. You have Us Sold and we will be Back again, everything was Delicious and Fresh. The stream of Locals told Me the Same Story as Well.

Despite it's modest look from the outside this cafe is a real gem offering great food at affordable prices. In addition there is a small gallery showing works of a local artist. Don't miss it if you're in Meritt.
