We had such a wonderful experience watching a play at the Festival Theatre. You could enter the building early to have coffee and snack if you wished. Doors to the theatre opened 15 mins before the show, and the show started right on time.Excellent production.

Amazing day. Ordered picnic from Festival Cafe and had nice lunch on the island in the river. Perfect weather. Parking was a breeze and the guy was soooooo helpful. Ordered a hearing assistance device for my mom and it was easy to pick up and to use. They had lots of headsets also so I shouldn't have bought one and opened it lol. The production was just a-ma-zing. We saw King Lear. Not gonna lie, I went to see Paul Gross (hawwwt). He did not disappoint in any way, as was the case with the entire cast and production team. All in all it was a wonderful day for both my mom and I. Will be returning at least yearly.

Enjoyed King Lear on Saturday. It was phenomenal, and a great opportunity to check out local gems re: culinary samplings and small town strolls. Will return again to StratFest.

This season we have enjoyed the musical rent, and the Shakespearean play King Lear both absolutely excellent productions. We also enjoyed a picnic from the café Festival Theatre, which was delicious.

Festival theatre is a beautiful place to visit. The walk there from downtown, along the Avon river, is both pleasant and beautiful. We saw the swans and lots of ducks and geese. We saw two shows at the festival theatre while we were there - The Miser and Chicago. Both were wonderful. Good energy and lots of talent on the stage. When we arrived for the Miser there was someone near our seats wearing a heavy dose of perfume even though it is a scent free zone. Once we told our usher we were seated elsewhere as the scent was overpowering and headache inducing.

Amazing performance of Rent. The cast was incredible. Set and costumes great. The venue has issues that take away from the experience. Parking is a nightmare, one coffee stand with 2 people working it for the entire audience. Great performances; a lot of venue inadequacies.

I've been lucky enough to see many shows at Festival Theatre over the past 10 years. This incredible experience never disappoints. When you see a show such as Rent, that you may have seen in a traditional theatre, it brings a new perspective to the story when seen in this unique setting. The cast for this show is INCREDIBLE. Such strong and poignant performances. I would highly recommend this show for this season.

Used to work there 20 years ago. The theatre doesn’t have much change, but the town is much larger and thriving. Will be back to watch some plays.

Not a bad seat in the house! Staff is always helpful and friendly. They're very efficient at the bar to make sure everyone is served before showtime. The plays are always top notch! The best one we've seen at Festival this year (2023) is Much Ado About Nothing so if you have a chance, definitely check it out!
