Not friendly and supportive customes service that I expect

Food was very tasty - highly recommend giving this style of food a try.

Price is a bit steep but the flavor and range of choice of toppings is top notch. Like a personal hot pot

- Price: 2/5- Food variety: 2/5- Service: 3/5I had been eating this Malatang many times back when I was in Sydney, Australia.So when I found this place, I was extremely very happy but it fell me down.The food was not what I expected.I couldn’t take it by myself, I had to tell the staff what I wanted and they would pick it for me and couldn’t control the quantity.The food variety was very poor, not much choices.I saw the board saying that 10% off for cash but I wasn’t sure if I got that discount or not bc the bill was in Chinese language.Minimum weight is 300g (?!) and if u want to eat meat u have to add a portion for it (like in the bill).The staff was ok, not really hospitality and friendly.

We arrived 40 minutes before close and the staff ignored us. They looked at us and closed the sliding door.I work in the food industry, if you are sold out or if there are any other issues, you must let the customer know rather than just slamming the door and ignoring them. This is embarrassing for them.

My girlfriend and I didn't think much of this little divey mall just off spring garden, however we gave Mala Loklok a try and we're blown away by the explosion of flavour within our mouths. 5/5 is simply not enough stars to to convey the service we received, the additional free addons and the warming environment in which we ate. Please, if you have any doubts about eating here, reconsider. This place blew away our expectations and we will be returning again as soon as we devour the leftovers in our fridge...thats how big the portions are, and we're not little people.

Absolutely delicious. Great broth and many different ingredients to try
