People's Law School quickly responded to my inquiry about the advisability of members of an incorporated board holding liability insurance. PLS's response was thorough, helpful, and confirmed that each member carrying personal liability insurance would be wise. I believe that the suggestion to carry insurance will be a draw for people who want to do the difficult work the group often does to ensure a sustainable forest which avoids slaughtering old growth.
