Best Western Plus Lacombe Inn & Suites

Not a great hotel for tournaments, the staff seemed shell shocked. Tickets for breakfast, no yetis in the pool area, someone got called for a noise complaint when everyone was sleeping (didn't go up to the floor and look around). Suggest unplugging your room phone.

Been staying in this hotel for more that 2 months and will be there again next week for another 10 days. And would probably staying there until end of December. The place is very nice and comfortable. The kind of place that you just want to relax at the end of a very tiring work during the day. Room is very spacious and always clean. The cleaning personnel always did a great job maintaining the standard of cleanliness and filling up all room necessities. Special mention to the ladies who prefer the breakfast every morning. They are the best and the most kind people in the planet. I appreciate the great job they are doing everyday. Absolutely recommendable place to stay if you are in Lacombe and the surrounding town. Unfortunately, I can't get a room at the best western for my wedding night because they will not let me book a one night stay. This is very inconvenient and limits my options because I don't want to have to book two nights and pay double the price to only stay there for one night.

Greedy hotel. I needed a room for a night during the summer for a wedding, and they limited stays to a 2 night minimum because it was busy. This screwed over everyone who could only afford to stay there for one night. I would recommend the hotel across the road (country club inn)

I’ve stayed here on many occasions and Jackie has always gone above and beyond to get me in at the last minute no matter how last minute my work plans made it.All the staff are super friendly and greet me by name.I’ve stayed here 3 times and every stay has been 6-8 months in length and I’ve never had any issues and the rooms are always super clean and smell great

Clean, comfortable, friendly staff. They also change up the breakfast menu. This is really nice when staying multiple nights

Friendly staff, very clean everywhere, breakfast was great and the servers were great!I just wish someone had told me that the jets weren't working in the hot tub.. I stayed here for the fitness room and hot tub, so the jets not working in the hot tub was a real bummer..I thought it was cool to see dogs there too! I guess they're only allowed on the main floor but yes! Pet friendly!

Great location, quiet, clean, modern, nice bed, good shower, good breakfast.Nice staff greet you as you enter the hotel. Easy check-in even without reservation. The rooms are traditionally laid out, and reasonably priced. We'd definitely stay there again

This is a great hotel. Service is great, pool area is great, hot tub was hot…they even have coffee mugs and washable dish ware in the breakfast area (feels more like home and saves waste/cost).

We’ve had such great experiences with them in the past. This time, someone tested positive for COVID and when we called, the GM Jacquie, said that people have COVID or “heart attacks all the time” and they can’t cancel for things like that! I was shocked to be honest. She did offer to change our dates, but when we called back to do that after we sorted other dates that could work, we were told she was out. We left a message for her to call back and instead of calling us, she called Expedia and claimed that we were harassing her and wouldn’t call us back to discuss dates we could transfer to as she had said earlier.So unprofessional. I’m in tears. It’s nothing to do with the cancelation policy and everything to do with the manager’s rude and unprofessional way of dealing with other people. To actually say people have heart attacks all the time and this hotel doesn’t change plans for things like that. Wow! That’s what you want people hearing about your company??!? And then to not have the professionalism to follow through with what she said she would was also very dishonest and unprofessional. I loved this hotel and using it to visit my family. But after the treatment we received from Jacquie I don’t think we’ll feel comfortable being there again.Hopefully, Jacquie doesn’t work there long or was just really struggling and doesn’t treat others with such disrespect and I professionalism in the future because it’s a great place except for her.PS- Cody at the front desk was lovely and sweet. And so was the British lady who worked there. So, the long and short, If you go AVOID, JACQUIE- some of her employees are lovely but she is dishonest, callous and unprofessional.
