The process is somehow efficient with the kiosks however the waiting times can be lengthy specially during morning peak hours when customs opens. Also some US customs officers are have an unfriendly, unwelcoming and rude attitude towards tarvellers and other staff which is unprofessional and inapropriate for them who protect the borders. Keep in mind to be patient and truthful during the clearance.

The group at the Montreal airport were professional, but the line was long and CBP did not have enough agents to handle the early morning crowd on April 29th, 2023. Plan for 20 minutes through Montreal security, and another hour to get through US CBP.

Worst customs experience we've ever had. Not enough lanes. Not enough people. Today 1 customs official checking through hundreds of travelers. Flights missed, delayed. Just awful

I have been standing still while I watch every agent do nothing. I have been in the line for over an hour. My flight boards in 30 minutes. I just got through security and there is another line behind it at least 30 minutes long. Arrive 3 hours early. Two is not enough. Very inefficient!!

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had with a border patrol agent. Very rude and arrogant and I overheard him talking about how he can’t wait for Trump to come back. So I believe he was in fact discriminating against me, since I’m a woman of color.

After 3.5 hours, our flight, which was rescheduled 4x was finally MISSED because we didn't get thru US customs at Montreal Airport. Shameful service. They can see how full each flight is coming in and should plan appropriately. No separate line for Global Entry. We had to stay in the first 2 hours of line before we could even ASK about it.

Not sure why this happens in midst of connecting flight including repeating full security and causing an hour of delay to wait in line rather than upon arrival in US. Also causes issues with Enrollment on Arrival for Global Entry and made me throw away duty free liquids. Just dumb.

Understaffed. Very very long waiting lines. 28 booths and 3 open. A disaster. If you can avoid please do so for your own good.
