The Stride Clinic Barrie

Josee is wonderful. Full assessment and orthotics for both my daughter and myself. My daughter suffers from pronating ankles and I suffer from scoliosis. Even though my daughter says it feels like “I have a cliff in my shoe” lol they have helped stop the pain she feels when walking. For myself after about 3 weeks in the orthotics the pain in my hips from the scoliosis is gone.With the amazing results with the first pair we have ordered a second pair of inserts and a pair of sandals each. It is a bit on the costly side but the relief from pain is well worth the expense.

I went to the Stride Clinic based on a recommendation. The people I dealt with were great. However, there was a pressure to buy shoes there. I asked several times about alternatives, and got some answers but ordered two pairs from them. I understand the supply chain issues with COVID. I am not an orthopaedic shoe person. Neither pair worked. I ordered another pair and just didn’t like them. However I was told that I could take them home to try a bit, but not to walk distance with them. If I wanted to try another shoe I would have to pay for it up front. Now I have a $250 pair of shoes that don’t feel right and are sitting in a box. Great people but poor sales policy.

The Stride Clinic has helped me for many years. The staff are super friendly, caring and knowledgeable. The orthotics are of excellent quality and have helped improve my comfort level significantly.

The Stride Clinic has helped two of our boys with orthotics. It has a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. Most recently we were assisted by Josee. She was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. Thanks for making the transition to orthotics a comfortable one for our boys!

Amazing service and care. Josée explains her assessment results and helps you pick the best shoes for the necessary supportive orthoses. She takes time to answer your questions, listen to your concerns, and performs a thorough assessment, including a gait analysis. I’ve had far less pain since wearing their orthoses the past few years. Highly recommend The Stride Clinic! Love that I can choose either location to see Josée and the support staff are always helpful and friendly.

The Stride Clinic is a place where they listen, take their time and continue to service until your needs are met. They are not a cookie cut operation. Having orthotic fitting is one thing; their skill for adjustments is like cutting a diamond perfectly to fit your specific need(s). They have special ortho shoes and do replacement of regular soles to make a rocker sole. I am grateful and very happy with The Stride Clinic.

The team at the Stride Clinic in Barrie, especially Josee Gingras, has helped me enormously over the last 3 years. I suffered a tendon injury in my foot and they provided expert advice and made specific orthotics to correct the foot problems which enabled me to walk comfortably again and maintain full mobility. The members of the team are highly professional, very accessible and offer regular follow up care. The facilities are spotlessly clean and all Covid precautions were maintained meticulously to keep everyone safe. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who has mobility problems.

I was recommended to the stride clinic by a friend and I had such a great experience. I was assessed by Josee because I had noticed I’ve started to develop bunions on both feet. She figured out why I was getting them right away and figured out a solution to them that same day. I am a marathon runner as well and she was knowledgeable about why I’m prone to shin splints as an athlete and how they can be better prevented by having the right orthotics. This will be monumental for my training and success. Thank you so much Josee and the employees at the stride clinic. I will be going back in the future for all things feet.
