Maize Siding & Eavestroughing

When looking for a company to come and install eavestrough on my new build home I received a number of quotes. Maize was neither the cheapest nor the most expensive. I chose to go with them because they were quick to reply and answer all my questions, they were very professional, and they had very positive reviews. I never left them a review once they completed the job back in June, despite the fact that I was extremely satisfied with their work. I am leaving this review now because I recently experienced their aftercare. My builder damaged one of our down spouts while laying sod. After 4 months of asking the builder to fix it, they finally told me to contact the company we had install them, Maize. I reached out and explained the situation and in less than a week they came to my house and made the repairs. I asked them to give me an invoice for this two times and each time they gave me the same response, “Don’t worry about”.If you’re looking for a company to do business with, look no further. From my experience, this kind of service is unfortunately very rare.Thank you Maize

I called Maize for a quote in early April, the price was reasonable, and they were able to get the work done before the end of May.And I have to say they did an excellent job! I came home from work midday to new eavestroughs! No more leaking, everything is following the slope of my property (unlike before) and new downspouts as well. The colours match my soffits and siding and I couldn't be happier!Highly recommend!

Maize was great to work with and I have absolutely no complaints. Alain was courteous, on-time, and gave me a very fair estimate. There was a long delay between the estimate being accepted and the work actually being done, but I was warned about that, and I took it to be a good sign (if you're not busy during the spring in this line of work, you're probably not very good).I had two crews of guys from Maize come to my house to do the job, and both groups were polite and did high quality, very clean work. I wouldn't hesitate to call Maize again, and I fully recommend them.

My eavestrough needed replacement and I had not expected the work to be done before the Spring. However, the A team showed up yesterday and worked as if it was as warm as Spring! The job was done in a very professional manner by workers who showed they know what they are about. I am pleased with the work - again as Maize did the original installation.

From the prompt assessment and quotation following our initial call, to the scheduling of the work and completion of the work, the people at Maize were responsive, friendly and professional. We appreciated the estimate of the lead time which turned out to be quite accurate - no promises of “soon” just a frank assessment of when they could do the work. In the end, we had to delay the work due to other delays in our renovation project.All in all, Maize provided great, friendly service, with quality products at a reasonable price. I contracted Maize Siding and Eavestroughing to cap 3 garage door frames and improve my eavestroughing system at the front of the house. They were very helpful in finding the best options to correct existing problems. I found their prices very reasonable and I certainly got my money worth. The installer, Martin, was very easy to work with. He was eager to ensure that the work was done to my satisfaction. He addressed without hesitation any concern I had. It was overall a very positive experience with Maize and I would strongly recommend them.

Great service and great installation. This is the second new home we have purchased over the years and Maize installed the eavestroughing on both of them. I appreciated the great customer service, quick response times when I had a question, competitive pricing and great product. Overall, I would highly recommend Maize if you need eavestroughing installed.

Maize is extremely professional and does high quality work. From the first encounter and quote, to meeting my schedule, to discussing and customizing and reviewing their work, and till the finishing touches, they were easy to deal with, pleasant and did wonderful (and quick) work. I did work on 4 dormers (siding, soffit and fascia), and 2 eavestroughs and would highly recommend them.

**EDIT**(updated review) I had to downgrade my original review of 4 stars down to 2 for not replying to an email I sent the owner over 2 weeks ago. My eavestroughs were installed in March 2022 and obviously I was not able to evaluate the newly installed materials because rain hadn't arrived until spring. Once we had our first downpour, I noticed some imperfections on the effectiveness of the eavestroughs so I wrote Maize to get clarification along with a video of my concerns. The owner never got back to me and that's very disappointing.(original review) Outstanding product quality and workmanship. The installers are experienced, meticulous and attentive to details. I would have given this review a 5 star but the fact that the crew arrived unannounced without any phone call or email informing us of their work schedule, I had to cancel my day's plans because of this. I felt this was very unprofessional of the owner for not communicating with us beforehand. I was also disappointed with the owner for not having walked around the perimeter of the house when I requested a quote. There were no footsteps in the snow to indicate that he actually did a walk-around to evaluate the job to be done. But overall, I am very satisfied of the job.
