Excess Metals is certainly a Friendly place to do business. The people there could not be any more helpful and pleasant to deal with. Nicely organized! I will certainly be going back again based on my positive experience!!

Great staff and fair prices for metal!

I have been going to Excess for years and always happy to deal with there team. Great people!! This passed couple days I went in dropping several different metals off. Like usual everything went very smooth. They called me today because they noticed there was an error in my pay out and they accidently paid me to little. To my surprise I have some more money coming. Talk about honest and professional people.Thank you Excess MetalsYou always have us as a customer!!!!!

Been going here for quite a while. Their prices are competitive , they take almost all types of metal including vehicle's, batteries, catalytic converters. Friendly service. I used to avoid it after a good rainfall because the yard was quite muddy but since they recently laid down some huge metal plates over the yard it's a major improvement.

Fair pricing, easy drop off area and speedy.

Efficient. I like how the area that is driven on is covered with metal sheets so that there is less chance of getting a nail in your tire. They maintain protocals with regards to Covid as only 1 person can be in the room to be paid out. There is also a spot for a vehicle in front of the building so that when you are weighed on the way out you have a parking spot readily available usually so that you can go inside to get paid.

Since I (we’ve) been coming to Excess Metals, it’s been nothing short of a pleasurable experience dealing with Ray and all of his yard workers/staff. Always going above and beyond, definitely friendly, thoughtful, and helpful, FAIR AND REASONABLE IN CONSIDERATION AND PRICING. Another plus is there’s steel plating over the ground that helps prevent the worry of getting a flat!!Ray, to me, is one of the most humble/honourable businessmen I’ve ever met: he and his staff have shown us patience and kindness and in this type of industry, it’s a rare find. Actually, the kindness Ray’s shown to me/us personally, is rare, period. Lost my passport and all my money in the yard on Monday: today (Tuesday) it was returned (a scrapper gave it to a yard worker) and all my money that was inside had been stolen. Ray personally called me later after I’d already retrieved the documents and asked us to come back that he wanted to speak to us in his office; I thought maybe he’d seen on Camera or something and I had to make a police report but no: he “felt so bad knowing how hard people work” (for that money) that he over-generously replenished a large part of what had been stolen!! 5 stars/thumbs up all around from me/us for EXCESS METALS and it’s entire staff.
