Burma Star Monument
A very simple monument to British and Commonwealth, and particularly Canadian, military personnel who served in then-British Burma during the Second World War. The Burma Star it references is a service medal awarded to those who served in Burma against the Japanese in some of the bloodiest campaigns of the war. It would only be of interest to those who enjoy history so it is probably not worth visiting for everyone. If you do visit please be respectful.
