Food is home-made, hot, hearty, and good value. It's not fancy, but the service is hard-working, quick-witted, and dry-humoured, AND if you're lucky, they may even play guitar and sing a song for you. My family & friends have had super wings, steaks,, vegan burgers, ribs and chicken and all have raved! PLUS they serve up COLD Local Bevvies including beers and spirits. NICE going Nate and team!

What a pleasant and cute place.The bartender was so friendly and his service skills are top notch.We showed up about an hour before closing on a Sunday night.We ordered wings and the bonus for us was that it was wing night.Well the wings were done perfectly, full of flavor and yummy.The bartender was kind enough to tell us not to rush, even though it was almost closing.We wish we had a place like this at home, it looks like they have great events going on.Great job, we will be back when we come back your way. Thank you

The Red door is an amazing bar/pub to go to. I rarely write reviews but today I am. As I am writing this, me and my dad are staying in this lovely town for the weekend. We were looking for a place to eat and were recommended this awesome restaurant! We ordered the chicken/rib platter. We chose the option to eat for 3 people (and ended up with some delicious leftovers). We started off with the calamari. It was nice and crunchy and it came with their amazing home made chipotle sauce. After that we ordered the platter and we amazed at how delicious it was. The ribs fell off the bone and were so flavourful. The chicken was so juicy and went so well with the chipotle sauce. It also came with fries and a jumbo salad. Both knocked my socks off. The salad was so refreshing and tasty and the fries also had an amazing crispness and deliciousness to it. I 100% recommend The Red Door and would come back any day.I almost forgot to mention the amazing staff and the atmosphere. Everyone there was filled with joy and our waiter was amazing to us.I hope this review inspired you to come dine at the most memorable pub/bar in Meaford: The Red Door.

Asked for a poutine and paid $13 for a few fries swimming it watered down gravy. This was suposed to be during a poutine festival, so you'd think they would have tried to make something edible. Also others at our table got some pulled pork poutine and they also said they weren't impressed at all. No one finished their food.

We ordered their Canada Day special and were very disappointed as I recall they used to have the best burgers in Meaford. Perhaps the main chef was off for the day. The hamburger was burnt on the edges and so dry we had to wash it down with a beverage after every bite. Some sort of green wilted produce was squeezed under the hamburger pattie... perhaps it was once lettuce? The fries were the only redeeming item on their platter.

The poutine sauce and CHickien wings were very delicious. I actually was impressed at this random spot in meaford having great tasting food to this level. Staff were friendly and location is right in road in front of motel. Prices are decent and seating area is good. Overall I would recommend. Especially on sundays when they have half price wings. So so good.

We were in Meaford and decided to have lunch at Red Door which we just found online. We tried the Meaford hamburger and chicken wings. The homemade beef patty is freshly prepared everyday. It is flame broiled and topped with sauteed mushroom and onion, smoked cheddar, grainy mustard mayo, housemade tomato jam in brioche bun . To our delight the hamburger was juicy, tender, so tasteful and delicious. The flavour is amazing - really fresh, seasoned well and done just right.The chicken wings in honey garlic sauce was also good and the honey was not overly sweet.Laura was the only server but managed to provide excellent customer service. She got the orders right and we did not have to wait long for our food and drinks. She managed to still check with customers to make sure that they have everything they need. She is so warm and friendly and serve with a smile. We all enjoyed the food and the great service and would certainly come back here if we are in the area.
