Above the Rest Home/Property Inspections

I found Stephen very professional when I called for a quote. He walked us through the home inspection process and warranty program. We really liked the BuyBack guarantee and drone no touch technology.. when we re ready for our inspection we will be using Above the Rest.Andrew Proctor

While I appreciate how responsive and helpful Stephen was, the home inspection he completed was not very thorough or informative. I ended up having to get a second inspector to go through the home because the attic/roof was not even checked by Stephen. The second home inspector found a few major issues that ultimately led to me not buying the property. Had I not had my agent present for the inspection walkthrough, I would not have even known what questions to ask. It felt like Stephen was waiting for me to direct the walkthrough. I didn't feel any better informed or and more knowledgeable about the property after this inspection. My agent pointed out more issues than Stephen did.

It was a pleasure dealing with Stephen while he did our home inspection. Within minutes of meeting Stephen I just knew I was dealing with a person who knew what they were doing and that this person wouldn't try to pull the wool over our eyes. Stephen was easy to talk to and was patient in answering all of my questions. He wasn't in a rush to get the job done, which in this day and age is nice to see. I highly recommend using Above The Rest/ Home Inspections if you want a person who has been the building trades and sees things from the person who has been on the job. You can't go wrong with this professional!
