Hello, I am writing to let the person in charge of Patient Care know how poorly my daughter and I felt treated by your staff and the lack of compassion we were shown on our visit today I personally owned a private Clinic in Kelowna so understand how important it would be to the owners to hear feedback about their company and employees We called 10 minutes before the appointment advising that we were en route and were going to make the appointment We were told if we were 10 minutes late they would not take us We understood this and was in the office just under the timeline but there was someone in front of us so by the time we arrived it was a 1 minute late The front desk woman was not even caring about bringing her in she just shut it down. We explained how important this was to us and the rush to get there She was non caring, We asked to speak to someone else and there was no movement in how they were going to handle this. My daughter was very upset as she doesn’t have a car at the moment and now has to arrange another time around another driver She rebooked and asked for a key to the bathroom When she came out a lady from the back came out and called her name to come in for her appointment and the girl at the desk got flustered and said no not her the next patient. We called to ask for the ladies name who we were speaking to and they would not give it to us so therefore I cannot include this in the email I hope you take the time to review this and understand our side and talk to your staffSent from my iPhone

Horrible experience. the ultrasound lady with blond straight hair was so rude, I was shocked with how she was talking very bad attitude made me feel embarrassed and rushed she should not be working there at all!!

Ultrasound technician was unprofessional and rude, seemed like she didn't want to be there and talked as if I was an inconvenience. Complained to me about her job, things that were totally out of my control and not at all my fault, made me feel guilty and bad for being there, it was a really uncomfortable experience and left me in a pretty low mood for the rest of the day.

Incredibly rude ultrasound technician. Millenial girl with long straight blonde hair and glasses. Zero bedside manner. Was rude from the moment I entered till the moment I left. This chick should not be working with people, let alone in the health care system.

I got a call from this office yesterday Feb 11/22 by a very nice receptionist informing me about an Ultra sound appointment.I asked her if she/they were aware that I have a MEDICAL MASK EXEMPTION, she says no and it didn't matter, they won't book me and I have to go to the hospital where I have to wait months to get it done.I asked what about a shield? she said, I will have to ask the technician and call you right back. She did call me back about 10 min later and informed no, the technician will not serve me, I told her to give the message, I thank her for making me wait even longer, yet, the very Hospital KGH allows me to get in without a mask due to my rare diseases and Medical Mask Exemption, I also mentioned that it's about time they stop the support of this tyrannical protocol. Shame on you, Shame on you for refusing to care for me as I am a full-time patient awaiting this much needed Ultrasound. I will write to the Interior Patient Quality Care Team, as they have helped me before with a letter for the hospital to get treated mask free.Sincerely,Maggie Bernet

Had my dating ultrasound at this clinic and i had an amazing experience. I did end up waiting about 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment before getting in , after already being there 15 minutes before my appointment with a full bladder but the tech was great, talked about how baby was doing and such. Will be going there for my 31 week ultrasound and I look forward to it :)

Normally, I have a great experience.. however, there is a particular technician that is very rude ! She huffs and puffs and makes you feel very uncomfortable… even her tone of voice seems as if she doesn’t want to be at work and she hates her job.. she was quite rough with the ultrasound at 33 weeks pregnant.. she was really digging into my pelvic area.. even though she could see I was highly uncomfortable and I need to pee very bad!! After that part of the ultrasounds done she still will not let me use the washroom!! So I had to sit there for 40 minutes, extremely uncomfortable, with her being extremely rough and not gentle!! Then when I asked for my fiancé to come in.. she was angered by my request!!! I asked if I could then please use the washroom, and she then said.. “ if you want to see the baby, then you’re not going pee” I’m mortified by my experience for something that’s supposed to be so special she completely destroyed for my entire family.I don’t think somebody like that should be working in that profession very unprofessional, very rude very disrespectfuL.. and very inappropriate and careless for someone 33weeks pregnant

I had the same ultrasound tech few times and each time she was rude, didn't even seem like she wanted to be there. She would rush my ultrasound everytime and have me go to the hospital, put me through stress. And KGH results were always fine. Only positive experience was the Receptionist they were always very friendly.

I booked a day off for my ultrasound, came on time, and found out my appointment was pushed 45 minutes. Came back in 45 minutes, but wasn’t called in, as I missed my appointment!

Very professional, kind and fast. I overheard the x-ray tech tell the front desk that the second tech called in sick for the next day and there was no one to cover. She went in to say she would double up her appointments, work OT and through her breaks to get as many done as possible, all she asked was a half hour break for lunch. It’s the caring for others that does it for me. Thank you!!!
