Maritime Fuels

Been calling since Saturday was told en emergency ticket was sent out they would contact me... never received any call back continued to call 3 other time over weekend with no call back.. called Monday and was told I to transfer the money did so Tuesday morning! Was told they would be out Tuesday or Wednesday... on top of that ran out of oil Tuesday night... called today (there is a snow storm tomorrow) now being told they can't deliver till Friday now and that there driver was already off the road (it was only 430)... we also have a 3 month old that we have to keep warm!! Called around to other companies and they are saying they can come out the same day and are 8 cents cheaper!!! This will be the last time we get fuel from maritime.

Got excellent service from Ashleigh MacDonald on our fuel delivery plan. Excellent person to deal... Very courteous, knowledgeable and a real asset of human resources to the company. Have been a ESSO customer from year 2001 and over years there have been mergers ending with Maritime Fuels and over 18 years we never got such amazing service. Wish her all the best.

I had been with Affordable Fuels where the customer service was outstanding! Since it became a part of Maritime Fuels it has not been the same and today was the third strike. I was shocked to be told that I could not get oil delivered for 10 days when prior to today I could always have oil delivered in 24-48 hours. When I inquired about why this was the case, the response wasI think it was posted on social media or something. " I miss the personal and sincere service of Affordable Fuels. Good bye."

Used to be okay, service has become terrible lately.I've been a customer for just under a year, and I've always prepaid my oil. Their driver over filled my tank by 61 cents and they tried to send me to collections for THEIR mistake. After calling in the charge was removed.Two months later and I bought more oil than my tank needed. A week goes by and I have to contact them to be given a choice: let the credit sit on my account, or receive a refund. I opted for my money back. Then comes a whole list of reasons why the agent couldn't give me my refund. I ended up demanding they cut me a check and eventually they agreed.Save yourself the inevitable frustration and go elsewhere.

Superior customer service. I have been ordering fuel oil for my grandaughter from Victoria, B.C. They made things so easy for me dealing long distance.and prompt delivery. I would highly recommend Maritime Fuels and kudos to their terrific staff.

I cant get over what amazing customer service we have received from Maritime Fuels. Kathy was so helpful, kind hearted, compassionate and informative. I talked to Kathy for under an hour and she treated and spoke to myself and husband like she had known us for a lifetime.

Received the XMAS scratch giveaway before XMAS and at first was skeptical this would ever result in free oil. I scratched the 50L free furnace oil and went through the process to send it in. After my fill-up didn't see this 50L on the receipt so I called and WAS TOLD it didn't get processed yet. So a month goes by, I call for now my next fill-up and inquire about this 50L promotion I scratched before XMAS. Now this time I'm told I didn't sign up for automatic delivery so was not eligible for the 50L. Given I was not told this when I called previously I figure this was in the FINE PRINT somewhere and basically a marketing scheme to get new customers and not really a focus on existing customers. Was a drive to gain more automatic delivery customers. I was a long time customer transferred from affordable fuels who they purchased last fall so my guess not that important in the grand scheme of things. I informed the person on the phone if I don't get this 50L there is a good chance this would be my last fill-up. That didn't seem to make much of a difference so I guess my $1500 plus furnace oil bill per year not a priority for this company that now has all these new customers. So just a heads up, if you scratch any Maritime Fuels ballet in future, read the fine print. And don't be surprised if you call and may get mixed messages. One star I will give them for showing up the day they say and another star for at least answering the phone when you call. All I know in all my years dealing with Steve Williams of affordable fuels, I've never had mixed messages and knew how he valued customers.

The lovely lady I have been in contact with (Ashleigh) has been amazing so far to deal with. She has answered all my questions thus far and hope the rest of the team is just as lovely. Looking forward to a lasting relationship with Maritime Fuels!

Why are 0 starts not allowed? I had been with Affordable fuels till they were would to Maritime fuels. I had automatic delivery with Affordable fuels and in the off occasion I would call to either upgrade my credit card on file or perhaps to require a statement of some kind. I never bothered to check prices anywhere or even look for another company. every time I called the same girl picked up the phone and got my request taken care of. Since I have been with Maritime fuels, I do not remember ever being at ease with my request or even someone remotely sending me a statement of account. just yesterday I had my tank filled when there were notes in my account stating to not fill it as we were switching from oil to heat pumps. This is oil delivery is not rocket science. I wish they could sell back to affordable fuels. I am looking for another company.
