Worst customer service ever. Absolutely rude.

I recently had a highly unpleasant encounter with a cashier at Modern Beauty, and I must say it left me with a bitter taste in my mouth.The appalling attitude displayed by Marie B completely overshadowed any positive aspects of my shopping experience. Her rudeness and lack of professionalism along with unhelpful and disinterested behaviour were beyond disappointing.Such behaviour is unacceptable and tarnishes the reputation of the store. I sincerely hope that Modern Beauty takes this feedback seriously and addresses the severe lack of customer service training and professionalism among their staff. Potential customers deserve better treatment and a more positive experience than what I had to endure.

NOT OPEN FOR GENERAL PUBLIC!This what should be written on your page everywhere.It's -27. I've spend almost 2 hours to arrive here via pubblic transportation just to see on your doors the fine print that says that I'm not welcome here because I do not have a license... what are you selling? I mean... is that some kind of a secret? I can buy all similar staff online but I've chosen to come to your place.Ok. If you have special prices- let it be. I'm willing to pay some other price for an average buyer, not a hairdresser, but... being not allowed at all... Odd... very odd thing regarding business.

If I could leave no stars I would, I never leave reviews but I feel I need to. It is mind blowing on how RUDE the people are that work at this location and the fact that our industry is hugely on customer service!!?? I moved over to the NW side of the city and in the beginning the girls were great however the last couple months....When people walk in the door a greet would be nice like some acknowledgment because again customer service but whatever not a big deal ....However when you walk up to pay and say hello or good morning to the person and they do not respond at all!?? Or just say phone number or card" ?? Or ring your stuff through with out a word being spoken ??!?!?Customer service is outrageous at this location!!!"

Staff very friendly and helpful. This is the best location. Always stocked up.

I had a really bad experience. You as individual can not shop there! No information is provided about that before arriving to the door of the store. You should have license to be able to shop!!! I drove a long distance to arrive there. So disappointing.

Well stocked and clean. Staff are knowledgeable. For those who are looking to buy products but can't here, amazon and max&max carry many of the products here. At max&max, I found thier products a little more expensive than modern but there is not shipping with $45 purchase. I am not sure why modern feels like they have to be so exclusive but times are changing and hopefully they can too. They are losing it out massive sales the way they are operating now.

I used to really like the Beacon Hill location. Lately whenever I order or go in the experience is just lacking. Their online ordering system doesn't work all the time. They charge your card but the system never updates your order info so your order never gets picked. If it did get picked it's a 50/50 on if you'll be notified the order is ready. When you call to inquire some staff members aren't that friendly or don't bother looking into it. I had also ordered a blowdryer and when I went to open it there were pieces missing and they couldn't help me as it had been past the 14 day exchange window. All they would do is exchange it for another brand that cost more money. Customers service is lacking and some staff really don't care. Really unfortunate

I don’t know why but literally every time I shop at this location the staff gets ruder and ruder, today there was absolutely zero customer service and the staff wouldn’t let my toddler use the washroom gave me lots of excuses told me we could go across the street to staples I said she’s not going to make it then was rudely told I need to supervise her thanks tips, was never greeted or treated with courtesy, I’m almost to the point of not shopping at this location anymore even tho it’s closest to my house as today I almost left my cart with my items and walked out grabbed the bare minimum and left

Love shopping here! It’s where I get all my hair products because they’ve got the best high end stuff!
