JJ Family Spa Plus

It was my first time at JJ Family Spa and I took my girlfriend for Valentine’s. I surprised her with the Scrub A option and she absolutely loved it! She said the scrub was pretty hard but it was still enjoyable. Lots of amenities, like a wet and dry sauna room, cold bath, hot tub, salt room, earth and charcoal room, and an ice room. We liked how there were a mix of shared areas that were coed but also individual areas. Will definitely be back!

I had a chance to test this SPA facility recently and should say it has some pros and cons. First, it feels dated, by the look and condition, heavily used, old fashioned, a piece of time right from 90s. Second, the experience of your visit is questionable - you could get the same dry/wet saunas, jacuzzi and showers at any recreational centres around for 5 times cheaper. Not sure about the salt room, it was OK but not feeling any kind special, healing or the experience you would appreciate. Maybe good for sleeping... I'm sure mild temperature wet sauna with aroma would work much better. This facility has a split for men and women, not really a family set, so be ready to walk fully naked and see fully naked people around. I'm OK with that but some people might find this embarrassing. The common area has some different style sofas like they are collected for free on Craigslist and calm looped music. The pro thing to mention is cleanliness, though not sure about the floor as you have to walk barefoot. Some people could have foot fungus and requiring slippers would be a good thing. That's it. So, overall experience is that this is NOT worth the asked price ($25). At least the men part. I know some women like their part, so it may be better.

I went with a friend and enjoyed the various rooms available. They had hot and cold tubs and the sauna was great. The outfits provided were made of heavy cotton which were a little hot while in the warmer rooms. The facilities are dated and basic but clean. We both had massages. I had an older lady who was great and pleasant to interact with. My friend had a younger lady who gave a terrible massage. She pushed on my friends spine and left her extremely bruised and sore. I would return again but perhaps ask for the masseuses credentials before getting a massage.

I came here so far for 4 visits: The spa can be lovely. It is clean. People who respect the silence signs and go about showering, hot tubbing, cold plunging and saunaing make it a pleasure.Only one time I went was unfortunate: 4 ladies who didn't seem to understand the quiet etiquette, kept talking and talking in the hot tub area. I went to the steam sauna to escape and was confronted by another group of 3 ladies who also decided to talk and laugh. I left and went to the common area where it was quieter, then decided to go back in and just enjoy one more steam sauna and cold shower even with the talking. As I left, 2 different ladies , also on their first visit, went into the cold plunge and screamed out loud.However, I enjoyed a nice facial and massage on my second visit when it was quiet, and I was able to relax and doze off. On my fourth visit, I tried scrub A: I highly recommend this treatment- the most thorough scrubbing, lovely oil massage, cucumber face mask and a lovely hair wash and conditioning with nice hot towels and fresh hot water. Decadent and professional.Admittedly, this is a mixed review. Both treatments come with free access to hot tub, steam room, saunas and common rooms should be enjoyed prior to massages and scrubs.This place is worth a visit but bring ear plugs to escape any potential noise.

A friend had recommended the place to my husband and I. And Honestly the spa front and when you first enter isn't the best appearance. However it is a good experience,place was clean. Each room had different experiences weather you want to go with a friend or by yourself. I loved the salt room in the ladies section. Would definitely go again. Good value for the experience.

A very nice spa with multiple relaxing rooms to enjoy. The facility is conveniently located, yet far enough from the main road for it to be a peaceful time.The facilities are clean and well kept and the staff are very friendly. The massages are very reasonably priced, and access to the spa is included in the price for the massage.Would definitely recommend if you would like a few hours to unwind and forget about the world for a bit.

It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a fancy spa, but the service is still great. The price is reasonable and the staff are friendly. If you want a fancy zen like spa this may not be what you're looking for . If you want a good scrub and massage for a good price, then I would highly recommend it.

They say this is a family friendly spa. It is absolutely not!!!! There is a common area with a few spa rooms you can use as a family. Once you go into the change rooms it is very weird. There are naked people everywhere, using the hot tub and saunas fully nude and walking around. One lady chased me around the change room and totally invaded me while I was trying to get dressed. The Men’s change room is also the same. This is not a family friendly facility as advertised. Will never be back.

Friendly service and good facilities, not far from the transit links. As well as the usual hot tub, sauna and steam room, there’s the other dry sensory rooms. I’d highly recommend the body scrub too, was worth the extra charge! Overall would definitely go back again!

Nice Korean spa. Facility a little bit run down but very clean. There are the Charcoal, Earth, Cool and Salt rooms to relax in with the given gym strip outfit, complimentary with admission $25/person. Hot tub and cold plunge is also included with admission. Additional spa services available, please book ahead. I personally recommend the body scrub. Bring swim wear if you don’t want to go commando in the wet areas, your own personal toiletries for showering before/after, (1 blow dryer available) non-breakable water bottle & flip flops. Free parking, small lockers will be provided for day use.
