I had an appointment to pick up a suit for a wedding earlier this year at Waxman. An hour before my appointment I noticed that I would be 10 minutes late, so I decided to call them and give a heads up that I would be a little bit late.The called of picked up by someone named “Billy”, which was incredibly rude to me. I simply said “I have an appointment in one hour and I’m calling because I will be 10 minutes late”, for which Billy yelled “okay so you are bailing on us, what do you want us to do then?”. Honestly I was speechless given this treatment. I tried to keep calm and replied “listen, I’m on my way for the pick up, I’m simply giving you a heads up regarding my ETA”. All I got back was “listen buddy, we are extremely busy in here, and we we have your suit for you, and you need to come on the time proposed”, again yelling at me. I said “would you rather reschedule it for later today?”. Which Billy replied “I won’t tell you what to do, you are the customer, you should make your decisions”. I was speechless for such unexpectedly rude treatment. “I’m already on my way so I will keep my appointment”. All I wanted was to cancel my order but I had the wedding next day, not to mention that they had already charged a booking fee on my credit card, so I was literally their hostage.Waxman is an expensive place that pretends to offer a good, classy service. But given my experience, once they grab your deposit, they will treat you like garbage. They couldn’t care less about their customers. I think respect and cordiality are a must at any customer service experience, and Waxman lacks it all. I won’t be coming back nor I will recommend this place to anyone.

Do not go here. 350$ to rent a tux. Does it look good, of course. But you can buy a suit to own for that price that also looks very good. So you pick up the tux late Friday. Wear it on Saturday. Have to return it on Monday because they aren't open or accept returns on Sunday. Of course they close at 6 on Monday. And they leave an incredibly threatening note in the bag saying it'll be another 100$ per day if it's late. And Gods forbid the owner corners you to tell you some story you don't care about but have to listen to for 20 minutes because you need the suit you're renting to look good.

For my first experience, they had me on how my phone appointment was book. On that day, they served me beyond my expectations. My designer assistant was very helpful, polite, understanding and super friendly! I recommend this place for anybody that knows his/her worth!

Throughly the best place to buy a suit in Montreal, I have no words to describe the excellent service they provided me for mu Wedding Suit.Prices are also really good for the quality of products that they sell.You will definitively find unique styles of suits, and finally the tailor is like a surgeon, he opens up the pieces and make the best fit to our body.Truly recommend!Thank You again Billy and the whole team.The expresso bar is a must when you visit!

Super professional service, with excellent suits and tux. A dedicated team to offer you the best and cleanest outfit you'll wear!Trust me, they can make you go 0 to 100 in a matter of couple of minutes. I rented a tux for a wedding, but will definitely pick up a suit for myself!

My husband, father, brothers, and groomsmen all used waxman for our wedding and we just loved the tuxedos they rented. they looked like tuxedo models! It is not the first time we shop at Waxman, as my father buys all of his suits and tuxedos there. The service is great and the tuxedo rentals look so amazing. Everything can be included in the rental from the tux itself, to the shoes, bowtie, pocket square and cufflinks. It is a turn-key experience and was made so easy for us. On the day of the wedding, one groomsman noticed he had picked up the wrong size shoes, and Waxman had it delivered to their door the morning of the wedding. Billy and his 2 sons are just amazing !
