My wife and I recently stayed here for two nights. The rooms were decent, the staff friendly and the place is clean. I have stayed in a lot of smaller hotels/ motels across Northern Ontario and this place is one of the best.

Stayed at the Station Inn the night before departing for Moosonee. Friendly, helpful staff. Enjoyed the breakfast at the inn's restaurant prior to boarding the train north. Enjoyed the train ride chatting with the conductor and locals (Indigenous peoples ) heading home. Lunch and snacks were available during our trip. Will make this excursion again. Found it interesting and informative.

This place deserve more than 5 star honestly. First of all, all the staff are nice and welcoming. They understood the need of their clients.The rooms are clean and well maintained.But I wanted to commend ERIC, manager of Station Inn, for the exemplar service he had shown. I accidentally left my cervical pillow in a hurry to catch the train going to Moosonee. I called and he assured me that I will get my pillow soon. He went out of his way to send it over to Moosonee through the next scheduled train ❤️In addition, I wanted to say THANK YOU for the surprise you’ve given to me and my husband ☺️We will definitely go back to this Inn and will highly recommend Station Inn to all my friends and family.

Great room! Perfect size for one person. And such a lovely atrium. I only wish the restaurant was open on weekends

The rooms are relatively new looking, clean and comfortable, but not spacious. There was train nosmise off and on until 11 pm, but to some degree it should be expected for the Station Inn. The breakfast/lunch room serves good food and coffee. I'd definitely stay again.

I've never stayed in the rooms, so can't comment on the hotel. Most people come for the restaurant. It's under new management and staff; looks like they are still working out the kinks. The only people in my group that were satisfied with their meal were the ones who ordered burgers. Salads were missing ingredients that were listed on the menu because they ran out, server didn't tell us that until we asked about the missing ingredients (cook should have told server as soon as order came in, and server should have checked with us before serving), desserts were more ice cream than anything else (and it looked/tasted like cheap ice cream). Let's hope things improve as the staff & management get more experience.

Nice place to stay, my room was a nice size all you need. Bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Very quiet no noise from highway. We ate supper at the station restaurant and enjoyed our meal.

Went here for breakfast while up there sledding for 3 days....great food! Will stay here next time it looks great

So conveniently located to detour bus station, i was staying at chimo but my new place is station inn, rooms are up to date and clean.i can't say the same for the competition
