I love Balzac’s in general, but this location is a little extra special. The staff are wonderful and have recommended many delicious drinks when asked, the atmosphere is great, and the food is always tasty, too. Worth going a little out of the way for, for sure.

This Cafe is beautiful!!! The esthetic of this place is on another level. I wish I could take the wallpaper home!There are a ton of people here working on laptops or having coffee meetings, so it's definitely a great place to get some work done. There's is also lots of parking spaces.They also have vegan and gluten free options here. The prices are quite high though. It was over $5 for some tea with lemonade.

I had an almond croissant, which was really lovely, and a juice of some kind, that was nice.We did not interact a lot with the staff, but what interaction we had was impeccable. We did not have coffee, so can't comment on that.The atmosphere was disappointing, mainly because of the acoustics. It's not a big place, and though it was busy most of the time, it wasn't that many customers that were eating there. It felt very noisy though! The walls are too bare, they should add some sound dampening panels somewhere to absorb sound, so you can actually hear the person sitting next to you clear.For that reason I'm not sure if I will eat in again, but judging from my croissant, worth to take out from there.

The coffee is good, but the service is poor. According to the sign this cafe closes at 18:00. We came at 17:24 and they were already preparing to close. They swept away the deserts from under our noses while we were trying to choose. During checkout she told us that she won't heat sandwiches. Around 17:45 the staff started to mop the floor. Is it a normal service?

Cute atmosphere|great tasteYoull be welcomed by amazing coffee smell. Nice interior and good seating. Ordered chai latte and magic bar both taste delicious. Calm place to work and read.Would visit again to have coffee again. Cozy couch corners are not available, but has huge seating area.

Beautiful interior, music at a medium sound level, great variety of items on the menu, refreshing hot and cold beverages, and good tasting coffee. This café is an ideal place for reading.

Really gooooood cafe! Worth all the hype !!! Had a really good coffee. I ordered Nordique Caffe medium size in a dine in cup. I’m a fan of Dine in mugs (kinda bored of take out mugs now). Absolutely loved the ambience and the service! My friend ordered Sugar Oat Latte which tasted absolutely delicious… so happy with my experience. Great vibe to work. They have wifi!

Absolutely not dog friendly like listed on Kitchener Waterloo Dog Friendly Online. However, this is a great place to grab your coffee or a delicious bite to eat while dealing with wonderful staff who are courteous and care about your order being prepared properly and efficiently. I personally love the coffee here and honestly would recommend it to anyone who asks where to grab a good coffee.
