It was Christmas Day. Originally my mom and I planned to stay home and chill. But since I had to pick up our Christmas cake anyway, we decided to go for a last minute Christmas brunch" somewhere nearby. That's how we ended up at Ye Skewers Hot Pot. Totally spontaneous

Pros:There is so much food and different choices of skewers. Their choices of sauce for the hotpot are amazing. Seating was comfortable, and I was lucky I went at 12 PM, so there was lots of seating. Staff were very helpful and accommodating, providing excellent service.ConsA bit on the pricey side for an All You Can Eat. This plaza has so much going on that when you come here at night, it's PACKED! Get there early or prepare to wait. I find the fish base I ordered was okay, but I should've stuck with the beef, which I normally order in hotpot places.Great place to eat, and I recommend you try it out.

Soup base was pretty good. Lots of high quality ingredients inside. But, as the soup evaporates due to boiling, servers top up the bowl with hot water diluting the soup.Good selection of sauce toppings as well as choice of skewers. Lamb and beef rolls needed to be asked from the waiters as they needed to be kept frozen for them to cut thinly.Food is expensive, which doesn't warrent a second visit.

Delicious food! What an eclectic experience... walk in wait was 30 minutes... unlike the other restaurant around the area that was longer. This was on a friday night!Great options and unlimited food! This is perfect for those who love broth and spicy food!Shout out to Fiona for helping us with our first hotpot/skewer experience.

This was my first time coming here with a few coworkers and wow I was impressed... You have a choice of soup from spicy, pork bone to vegetarian.Lots of choices for dipping sauce and skewers and skewers of beef and chicken and a few other animal parts that we can eat are on skewers too. Good selection food for hotpot: vegetables - spinach, water crest, broccoli, chinese lettuce, corn etc. Seafood - shrimp, squid, clams, osyters. And also fish, crab and meat balls and tofu.Dinning time limit is 1.5 hours and that should be plenty of time to enjoy everything. Individual soup pot and individual induction top for faster boiling.Seating is about for about 50 people and there are people waiting during busy times.I will definitely come again and bring my family to feast and get really... really full! :)

Our family visited this location on Mother's Day and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! We had made a reservation in advance for our group of 15 family members, and the space arrangement was surprisingly nice for accommodating a large group. We were so impressed and we even already planed our next visit while eating. Just 5 days later, we returned for lunch!!! AND once again, the experience was amazing. The atmosphere was quieter this time, allowing us to have a more relaxed dining experience. The food was just as delicious and fresh as our first visit. We also tried the Jelly dessert, which turned out to be absolutely delicious, kinda like a refreshing end to our hot pot dining. Our waitress, Chichi, was a lovely lady who provided excellent service. She was friendly, approachable, and gave us great recommendations based on our preferences. One of our friends particularly enjoyed the Green Hot Pepper dish as recommended by Chichi. We are already looking forward to our next visit and highly recommend this place.

I’ve dined in with my friends and also ordered raw skewers takeout.We were a party of 12 people for a birthday celebration when dine in, the reservation went smoothly. Servants on site are very attentive and friendly! They helped fridges the birthday cake, provided extra culinary and even played a birthday song for us!The takeout was even more amazing. We were a group of 6 females and 4 males, ordered 2 packages for 4 and 1 package for 2. We had it for two full meals and still have leftover. The meet and veggies are all in high quality. Packaging was with great attention to details too, we were all surprised by the volume and great value of the raw skewers take out!I will definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and visit again myself.

We heard about Ye Skewers Hot Pot during Summerlicious but didn't have time to go. We went today and had a great dining experience. It was the first time we did a skewer style hotpot and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There were so much choice so the help from the staff was appreciated.It's a buffet style AYCE hot pot. But you have to get your own pot of broth, which is actually great especially if you are very specific about your flavours. Broth is not included in the AYCE fee. Weekends and holidays are more expensive than weekdays.The skewers make it easier to choose selections from the buffet room. I liked that the raw meats are in a separate closed glass door refrigerator, away from the sea food, noodles and vegetables. I do wish there was English signage for the sauce combination recommendations. You can pretty much create your own sauce, but there were some spices I'm not familiar with so I didn't know which went with what. I also love that there is MSG available for those who aren't scared of MSG. Uncle Roger would be proud.Restaurant is very clean, the ambience was relaxed and quiet when we went, so if you come in as a group it is easy to socialize and don't need to yell over music to be heard. The washrooms are very clean and well maintained. It wasn't too busy when we went so the food is replenished at the buffet area right away.We probably ate too much than we normally do, but there are no regrets. Price range is typical of what to expect from an Asian AYCE (expect to spend at least $100 for 2 people if you want to get extra stuff than the AYCE fee and the broth). You do have a 120 minute time limit, but I'm assuming it's during the busy hours since my husband and I were eating very leisurely and enjoying the experience so we probably were there longer. Will definitely return and highly recommend.

My first time trying all you can eat restaurant at Canada, Most of the meat is pretty spicy. I appreciate all seafoods was freeze. Overall it’s pretty good, but I don’t understand why tables less than 6 people are not allowed to make reservations.
