Winnipeg Parking Authority

The Winnipeg Parking Authority has some very unscrupulous Parking officers, targeting unsuspecting drivers with their mysterious issuing of tickets with no indication or tickets, 9 times they've issued Parking tickets without even sending me the first in a series of 9. One guy works for the Parking Authority the other works in the collection business. Two new by laws enable them to put a lien on your vehicle and can repossess and sell your vehicle. Crooked!! Nothing like racking up Parking tickets and making business for your buddy in the collection business. It's something that is done in private of course. Not saying WPA is in on it, but some of the meter maids are. Needs to be looked at. This is piracy and cloaked extortion within the Parking Authority. Shame on them Crooked thieves and their enablers.

the lady working at the screening counter is miserable and hates her life. the door in the front says “respect is mutual” yet it kills her to fake even a smile. she is rude, no manners and does not let you finish talking before interrupting you and returning to her computer screen, ignoring anything you say. she is not fit to work in a customer service environment and she is a terrible look on behalf of the city if she is employed here with no further corrections. she needs an attitude check.

Winnipeg Parking Authority is a circus run by untrained and unethical people. I don’t if anyone can give you a ticket for parking at your own house but Winnipeg parking authority can do that.Winnipeg is a horrendous place to live and top on that MPI, Parking authority, Tranist have such highly unprofessional workers.

City Council should read these Reviews. 311 is the worst. Cant talk to anyone. During Covid the city pound officer came to my house.Barking dog complaint. Asked if I had my dog licenced. Told him No because of Covid everything was shut down. He said I should of registered on line. So he sent me a ticket. @$125.00 . I plead not guilty now got another ticket went up to $250.00 Tried numerous times to contact Parking Authority to no avail. Whats going on. I tried website to no avail just gives me a number to call that your on hold forever, so you just hang up

Preying on people around riverview health center where the only traffic is people who work there.. very respectable business you run

I was using the paybyphone app parking using the company car and mistakenly registered and payed the parking ticket using my personal car. The lady was very kind to give $0 violation fee since its my 1st day at work. You wont beleive I give them 5 star but she did a very kind and considered that i was just rushing and not able to see the details.

I know it won't change anything but they knowingly charged me saying that either pay or go to court to confront They knew that no one will waste time for $75.

You forgot to tow my trash cans, they are also on a snow route. Even though the city plows ice covered where my bins should actually go.

They don’t have no idea what they are doing. Got a ticket with the car paid for 12 hours, called 311 and they told me they couldn’t see if the car was paid or not and gave me a ticket anyways. So now they are assuming everything….The guy could’ve gonna for a drive to somewhere else and comeback, but no wasting the time of the working people is what they do best. Horrible

In February I received a parking ticket, I immediately paid for it, but then in March I received a letter saying that I have to pay, I called to operator, the operator said that he sees my payment, that I probably received a notification by mistake. But today I again received a notification that I have to pay for the same parking ticket
