Open Arms Preschool

This is such an amazing preschool, makes kids feel like home. We had several daycare tours around the area, and finally decided to send our little one to Open Arms. The teachers love kids, you can tell from the way they look at kids, interact with kids, with lots and lots of care, love and patience. He had a smooth transition. He loved the teachers. He loves the food, which is always fresh and health. The place is super clean and well maintained, kitchen is SUPER CLEAN.The other thing we like about Open Arms is that we can always see our little one from the webcam. And live reports with pictures to witness little one's each and every little progress and moments of joy.Anita and her team have put lots of love in this little cozy place. Definitely a five star!!!

I had an amazing experience with having my daughter attend Open Arms. The staff is very welcoming and made her time there very memorable. She has since graduated and started JK, but they have left such an impression on her she can't wait to visit once it's nice out again.

This is a great daycare. The food is yummy and the child care is excellent. All the staff here are friendly and patient with kids. The director, Anita, is super nice. My kid had a great time in Open Arms. I recommend this daycare to anyone who are looking for daycare for their toddlers or preschoolers.

Amazing daycare with nice, patient and careful teachers. Live camera gave us a chance to see how my son was playing and growing in the school.

Open Arms Preschool came highly recommended by a friend of mine. I had already visited 2 other preschools by the time I visited Open Arms. Although I liked one of the other preschools, there were mixed reviews that concerned me. In contrast, Open Arms left me with a safe and reassuring feeling from the moment I stepped foot on their property. And every review that I read was positive and gave me peace of mind that my daughter was in great hands.The facility is beyond clean, great setup for both toddlers and preschoolers, a fun playground designed wonderfully for kids, and wholesome and varied meals. The staff treat the children with care, concern and needed attention. On various occasions, I have witnessed how staff lovingly and patiently calm down children who are crying and missing their parents, and how they rub a child's back to help him/her fall asleep at nap time. The activities children engage in are also interesting and varied, allowing them to experiment with things while learning about new objects and concepts.It is no wonder why they rank in the top 3 preschools in the Richmond Hill area! In fact, I don't live in Richmond Hill but loved Open Arms so much that I drove 30 minutes each way so my daughter could attend this fabulous preschool! And I plan to do the same thing for my son when he gets a bit older. Both you and your child will have a positive experience if you choose Open Arms Preschool!!

Open Arms Preschool has felt like home for the past 2 and a half years. My daughter started going there when she was 18 months old and she's been cared for by loving and patient teachers. The facility is clean and organized, and did such a good job maintaining the safety protocol during COVID. The webcam and apps were great communication tools to receive updates and see what the kids are up to. I am so grateful to have found such a warm and caring environment for my daughter! We will definitely miss Open Arms!

The individuals who manage and run this lovely place are exceptionally caring and compassionate, and clearly love what they do. Miss Charnia has a way with children; understands that each has different needs; and encourages little girls to use their voices, be heard and be seen. Miss Anita is professional, patient, responsive, and accommodating. Miss Amanda, Miss Maryam, Miss Alison, Miss Noa will always take time to snuggle the kids - their arms really are always open! They will also take the time to update parents and send photos if the drop-off was a little tougher on any given day. Miss Jan makes the tastiest food that our picky eater gobbles up every day. We can't wait for our younger one to join the Open Arms family as well; thank you everyone for all that you do.

I absolutely love Open Arms Preschool! The teachers are so great with the kids. They are nice and patient. It's very comforting knowing that my child is having fun and learning while her father and I are working. She loves going; which makes everything easier for us parents. We have access to view the cameras throughout the day so we can see what our daughter is doing at any point in the day. We also receive updates on what she's doing as well. The fees are very reasonable and affordable. I am very happy I chose Open Arms Preschool for child care!
