The hiking/skiing trials are also cris-crossed with bike paths. With different lengths and difficulties the trails have something to offer for everyone. Also remember to snack on wild blueberries along the way.

Grand Beach Cross Country Ski Trails
A fantastic set of trails with lots of fun hills. The start of the trails is at the base of the hills so while you start off climbing, the last km back is always down hill. The Squirrel Run, at least the portion where it leaves the Boulder Hill trail (out and back from the Ridge View warming shack) is the most technical, and only for experienced skiers, though definitely worth the effort. The trails are all groomed for both skate and classic with a single track.

A delightful set of trails to hike, bike, or ski! We went during May of '22 and found that the flooding had even happened on this trail, but only because we accidentally wandered down the closed ski trail - it turned out to be quite the fun little adventure! Pretty casual place to hike, but not bad for Manitoba.
