GUAC Mexi Grill

My favorite fast food style Mexican spot. The staff are always friendly and quick at making my meal. And everything always tastes great. My go to are the taco bowls, love how they have tons of options for toppings and sauces.

I need to preface this review by saying that I used to really enjoy coming to this location and have had good experiences for the most part. Unfortunately, after last night's experience I have to give this place 1 star. Somehow, some way, I don't even know how this is even possible, but I ordered 2 taco salad bowls and my wife nearly broke her tooth off when she bit on a black rock/stone of some sort found in her bowl. No lie, I couldn't believe it myself and honestly, I don't know how something like that could even get into our food.... I'm guessing it was in the black beans they used but I'm unsure. I know for sure it was a pure rock/stone and it was not an overcooked bean. But I gotta say, left me unsettled to say the least. Probably will never order from here again as their health food safety must be in question. I also want to say that I did not contact this location to discuss our issue, because, well, what's the guy who runs the till/making the food going to do? Probably wasn't his fault, and probably won't know what even happened or how it could of happened. So I just wanted to let this location know by this review and let others know of my iffy experience. Unfortunate. :(

Staff are unenthusiastic. If it’s your first time there they will not make any effort to explain the meats/topping options or sauces. Empty stare waiting for you to tell them what you’d like in your tacos when it’s unclear what options are part of the price or cost extra. Any questions asked… you will get a one word response. Tacos didn’t taste horrible but the meat is under seasoned and overall flavour relies completely on the sauce. I came here today because Prairie Donair ran out of rice but I don’t think I would return.

ordered 3 shrimp tacos and 1 quesadilla on door dash from this place. the quesadilla was packaged horribly and the stuff was falling out every time i picked it up. the tacos were even WORSE. they packaged it upside down at first then when we opened it there was this horrible smell coming from them. we thought it might’ve been the sauce or something but we smelt the shrimp and we almost gagged. i don’t know if the shrimp went bad or anything but i know for a fact it would have given us food poisoning if we did eat it. i’m not trying to come from a mean place but the shrimp could’ve made someone seriously sick. this was a horrible experience and i don’t think i’ll be ordering from here again.

I have been here many times before.Once I told them to do perfect portioning at that time they did it as courtesy but after few days they continued the same pattern.This is unacceptable as customer,today afternoon they ran outta mango salsa,when asked to serve it employee told he had to make new & was just fine with not adding it to my bowl.Well now,its better to go to prairie donair to avoid such situations.Owner replying to this needs to know the issue first,Bowl isn't ordered with meat,signs of poor management & unproffessional service.

Beware the debit “tip” option. Tip cash if you want the staff to get it. 2 stars for this, owners.Good: Taco Tuesday deal. Beef or beans & rice. The tacos are awesome, and so are the staff. It’s a process, they wait on your every ingredient, so lines can get long. Ask for samples to try different options.Bad: Bean mix is so wet it busts open the bottom of your taco/burrito/quesadilla.

Great place to go if you are Celiac and need gluten-free food in the southeast end!

One of the best mexican joint I’ve ever been to, between I and my frnds we had Enchiladas, and burritos and their infamous FIESTA POTATOES, and it tasted so good that I am gonna go again and again.We got into talking with the guys working there and found out that every single edible item on their menu , including the sauces are made from scratch,, hence the quality of taste.The best item on the menu is undoubtedly FIESTA POTATOES, the rich queso sauce and any toppings of your choice on it,, was the perfect compliment of our whole order.It was really amazing and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves mexican food.

Very bad service, doesn’t look quesadillas at all.It was made horribly and veggies were all falling down .Very bad packing.

Theif, charged me extra for my meal.A chicken enchilada with chips and salsa priced at $16.99 charged me $24.17 with tax.Avpid going to guac as also their service and food is not that great and please make sure that you check your bill before paying. They charge you unnecessary extra and once u leave no one is going back until when realize like me.Stop going go East GUAC store.
