I would never recommend buying large ticket items from this store. My daughter and I shopped for a stroller in the whitby location, after spending about 45 minutes with a sales associate my daughter decided that the uppababy stroller & basinet she was shown(and I have a photo) was exactly what she wanted. We purchased the stroller at a cost of $1600. My daughter got home and excitedly opened the box, the stroller we were shown in store was not infact the stroller we were sold. The following morning my daughter called the store and was basically told that she would never have been shown the stroller we thought we had bought because it didn't exist, my daughter offered to send them the photo of her with said stroller, she was also told there was nothing they could do. I then called and top and bottom of it is, they have a no return policy (even though this was THEIR mistake), they offered us a different stroller which was on display, after spending $1600 we didn't particularly want a stroller off display.We now have to order, at an extra cost to us, the pieces we want to make it the stroller we were shown. Absolutely horrible management and will never shop there again.Please do not spend your money and risk being ripped off.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS CHAIN! Their inventory is always incorrect, and their shipping system is broken. I never received my Google Home Max and now they filed Bankruptcy so I don't think they will ever give it to me. I went to the store a few days ago to use up the last of my baby shower gift cards and ended up with a french toy inside an english boxThe second item, a defective toy that they acknowledge is visually defective from manufacturer but still say everything is final sale. The toy literally says the number 9 while pushing a number 7 button. Way to teach a child how to not count properly. They don't care about your business or your baby. Just wall away and find the exact same products for much cheaper elsewhere. Do barcode scans online and you'll see that this chain is always the most expensive, even when they are 20-30% off they are more expensive. You've been warned. Wishing all the parents out there the best of luck.P.s. this location specifically lied to me in my face while trying to not honour the advertised price of a car seat. The district manager happened to be there to catch the evil doings of the staff.

The store is nice but what makes it stand out is the Feeding Room which has two nursing chairs and a fully stocked change table. I was blown away. Was able to feed my 4 month old in comfort, change her and get back to shopping. Major thanks to the staff and manager at this location - I have been to other buybuybaby locations and they are not as nicely set up.

The store has decent items in stocks and a good clearance section. Ofen times they are short staffed and no one is available to help customers. Other than Emily at cash who is always plesent to deal with, the rest of the staff don't seem to enjoy their job. The staff at the baby registery desk can really use some training and be coached on customer service and how to treat customers with less of an attitude. Similar to other reviews it seems as they are racists towards visible minorities. Very disappointing to be shopping with such an environment. Would highly recommend head office provide proper training to their staff.

I purchased their annual membership 2 months ago thinking I'll go to this store often for baby things. I've only gone twice and they announced they're closing. So I thought I'd go one more time this past weekend, however, at check-out they said I couldn't use my membership anymore because last day to use it" was the previous weekday

We have been shopping in Whitby location and online. I must say that there is no coordination between customer support and store. I have had some issue with rewards+ and I have been going back and forth with store and customer support from one and half month and it’s not been resolved yet completely. Also, we have received manufacturer defective Graco Modes click connect travel system with issue with parent tray on the frame. As the model has been discontinued by Graco, there is no replacement/exchange and store offered to exchange the frame with floor model. As an alternative, we requested them to provide free stroller organizer worth few bucks because we don’t want to shop all again from scratch as due date is closer and many travel systems are out of stock or we didn’t want to replace t at floor model frame, and they denied it saying we have to pay half the price for stroller organizer and their offer was exchange it with floor model frame. That’s their solution and ultimately, we have to return this product as we found that is not fair for a defective travel system. Very sorry state of customer service in this location. Beware that they are selling this product by replacing floor model frame or with defective frame as I can see this travel system in their inventory which was out of stock till yesterday.

My experience at the Whitby buybuy baby was made exceptional by one of their sales experts Michelle. My husband and I were on the hunt for a stroller and car seat and were getting overwhelmed. Michelle was able to gather what we were looking for and make some smart recommendations. She helps us for over an hour, answering all our questions and providing her expert advise. We would have been lost without her. She was very personable and friendly and made the experience a positive one. Thank you again Michelle!

Store is closed permanently. Nobody updated it on Google. Their website says it is open to clear out last inventory but the location has a sign of permanently closed.

BE CAREFUL. Here on April 15, 2023, the prices at the register are incorrect. We checked the receipt on the spot and found the incorrect discount applied. They are telling us they cannot refund the difference and can only spend the difference.
