Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Club and The Chalet Restaurant

I love this golf course, but my husband loves it more. It is a true mountain course with lots of challenging holes, elevation, stunning vista's, rushing creeks and wildlife. The staff are efficient and many have been at the course for several years. It feels like hanging out with friends. The local members are also welcoming, with many regulars who return annually. The Chateau course just has a nice vibe, it's a great place to play and improve your game.

Booked as per my usual at Fairmont Whistler and then got an email saying that the pool will be closed, when I tried to cancel or changed they refused saying I had to stay - I politely answered i don’t have to stay and booked another hotel, unfortunately I lost the money paid for this booking.In common sense they should have canceled and refunded, seems like a cheap manager is handling the customers and honestly this policy is terrible hope you dont get bankrupt when loyal customers decide to go to the four seasons insteadThank you for sending me to a better hotel!!! And for keeping my money! Ill make sure not to come back and tell my buddies about the awesome experience dealing with your customer service

This place is gorgeous. We can't wait to golf here when we come back next year! Such a beautiful course.. and the wine is good too!

The course is very beautiful!! It is very tricky and I love a good challenging course! The hot dog stand is worthy of its own trip out alone. The golf carts have GPS and Bluetooth connectivity for phones. There is a YouTube video that plays prior to every hole if you’d like, so that is nice!! The carts also have coolers and club cleaners.However, you can’t pay with the same card you reserve with online…this really doesn’t make sense, especially for a course that is $200 to play… if you compare this to the Whistler Golf Club in terms on maintenance, care of the course, it is severely sub par. Whistler Golf club is so groomed you’d think you were the only person to of ever played there…. Fairmont here on the other hand: unfilled divots, dry patches of grass near the cart path, lady at the desk said it was 90 degree, just to find out the course was cart path only! Cmon! This is worth it, I guess, but I’d only play it once and probably won’t come back .

A very beautiful and extremely challenging course. Our group had a great time and look forward to playing here again.

Beautiful scenery and challenging golf course. Perfect combination and a must play. Also a good chance you see a bear or two during your round.

High end golf course and you definitely get what you pay for. Views and unbelievable. Course is tight and challenging. Bring lots of balls!!

Amazing golf course and even better food. I saw four bears, so be careful going around the corners. Rentals were brand new, but they should probably give more than 6 balls if your handicap is 30+ :)

Majestic drives, slippery putts, and stunning scenery, to say the least! The staff and services available are absolutely amazing! The food and beverage offered, exceed my expectations everyday.
