The Beer Store

Not a beer guy, but returning empties is a breeze. I've never been a fan of their carts for managing your empties. Not sure who designed that one :)

This is the newer type of beer store with a separate room for all your empties.Great selection of beers and all in a cooler to keep your beer cold.

i am an alcoholic and even if i am completely nearly blackout drunk at 3 AM they will always serve me here, i can always rely on them for my alcohol. i love alcohol.

Picked up some locally brewed beer for brother coming in from Vancouver. Customer gave me and excellent referral

Had a really bad experience here today, debit machine was down so I paid cash. Got to my vehicle a noticed that they had charged me more than what it should have been. Went back it and asked for a receipt just to make sure that I was correct, was told they could not print me a receipt. I double checked the prices including the tax. Confronted cashier and basically got the cold shoulder and was told there was nothing she could do because she couldn't give me a receipt . Don't understand how you can purchase something and not be given proof of purchase .

I normally would not write a review about a Beer Store, mainly because i don't like the chain.This review is about the staff at this location, not the Beer Store itself. The place is really an abnormality in the Beer Store chain.Historically I have avoided the Beer Store due to the really lousy attitudes of the seemingly entitled employees (a government protected monopoly will do that).That said:The staff here are fast, really friendly, and seem to actually care about their customers. They are a pleasant exception to the Beer Store norm.

Not the largest store but they seem to have all of the brands and sizes you would expect in the bigger ones. Its a self-serve set up with a good selection of singles and specialty. Friendly staff.
