Costco Vision Center

We visited the independent optometrist today for the second time. The doctor was so kind and courteous that he stayed longer for us during this busy holiday time. Our family so appreciates the care and extra mile :)

Very disappointed, we have been attemptimg to book appointments for each member of our family going on 3 weeks now. We have left numerous messages, many in fact. No one can be bothered to return calls ot seems.

Stopped in to the Costco Optical department today. My son was in a car accident, and we had just found his glasses in pieces in the wreckage. Carmillo (not sure of the name, sorry) took care of them, putting them back together so my son can see again as he will not be out of the hospital for a while. He was compassionate and kind and all he wanted in return was for me to take care of my son and give a good review. So here it is. Thank you for your kindness on a day I really needed it. Costco comes through again.

THIS WAS the first time I had come to Costco to find & buy new glasses....I was truely impressed by the skill & kind professional way that my optician JOFE dealt with me.I have purchas many glasses during my life but this is the first time that I have had someone find the exact right size of glasses & put them in my hand for my first try on choice. I continued, of course to try to find another shape another color another style but each choice came back to try on again her choice. JAFE 's choice was right in fit and comfort, in function & in style ... & each try I made only proved her right...also....I was so surprised to find that while we had been chatting about this & that ...JOFE had fixed my old glasses so that finally they were fitting like a charm ...and without me even asking ...shehad fixed themselves that now my old glasses felt like a new pair ....I had fun chating easily with her &finding out how she knew instinctively what would fit my face just by looking...You can bet that my Friends will be hearing glowing reports of JAFE & my positive very satisfactory experience of Costco Vision in Kelona B.C.

A loyal Costco shopper for 20+ years, my first experience with Costco optical was not without its issues. I had read the negative reviews, but wanted to give it a try. Had to wait over 20 mins inside the store to reach counter for appointment. No other way to check in on arrival. Previous history i had given was not on my file. A couple little hiccups. However, i have to give a massive shout out to JOFE, who listened to my concerns carefully, professionally and, in the end, found the perfect contact lens for my high maintenance eyeballs. Thx JOFE!

Wow, what an experience speaking and trying to book an appointment with the receptionist! I’m really surprised at such a busy location, that she is the face of the business. Plenty more optometrists in town to choose from!

I called to inquire for progressives and the women on phone was very rude when telling me about the cost for the lenses. What a customer service !!!! She sounded like she hated her job and didn’t want to do anything

They absolutely should change the management here. No carts inside, outside though there are tens of carts parked in rows, staff is rude. Worst Costco brunch I've ever visited.

This is for the optical department, not for the optometrist. The optometrist was fantastic.I got my rx but they dilated my eyes so I had to come back later for contact fitting. Fine. Came back next week, got some samples and tried them on, walked around for 10 mins and then the lady said come back sometime later after wearing for 4 hours for a final check. Then you will be allowed to buy contacts.I called to make an appointment for this final check but no one ever answered the phone or returned my messages. I decided to walk in and they said I need to make an appointment and come back later even though I was the only customer there at the time. Oh and I was also given attitude and the employee said well I offered to schedule you an appointment last time you came in". Fine but I didnt know my schedule at that moment in time and most places answer phones so you can schedule your appointment without physically visiting the store.At this point it was going to take me nearly 5 visits just to be allowed to order my contacts. I then found out you can EASILY ORDER your contacts online in Canada if you know your Rx and contact lens details (which is on the sample box costco gives you). Please everyone save yourself a hassle and just get the contact samples from costco and then order online. It is cheaper as well."

Had the best customer service that Ive had anywhere--right here . Janelle B was amazing. Knew her stuff, took her time, very efficient, super personable.....highly recommend Costco and Janelle B!!
