We went on Wed 7 June around noon. At least 30 min wait for our food. Coffee was lousy, the young waiter informed us that they were out of things, okay that's to be expected as they are are just figuring things out of what they need and what sells well. one of us ordered the grand Slam breakfast with hash browns as an added extra and an additional pancake, we were told you can't have an extra pancake. okay fine. food arrived after many apologies how long it is taking and could have had three top ups of coffee but no thanks on that. Two out of the three meals arrived as you would expect but the grand slam yeah that was a total disappointment the way it was presented. The hash browns did not arrive at all and again apologies but they didn't arrive by the time we ate the entire meal. so we told the young lad never mind and he took them off the bill. We have no plans of going back there EVER !

The waitress had to announce that they were out of most of the main ingredients; no hamburger, no turkey, no fish. No ceasar salad.Soup was barely warm, kitchen was very slow and no one came to apologize from management nor to offer a discount for waiting for 40 minutes to get cold food. Fries were well out of the fryer as they were barely warm. This is not a place to recommend and is not supporting local. We were of the understanding that they would maintain some of the dishes from the previous menu when it was the Acorn. Not recommending this restaurant and will not be going back.

Had the bbq sauce burger and poutine for a retirement lunch. The poutine was a substitute for the fries but I found it to be just mediocre as far as poutines go. The burger was pretty good overall which I will rate as a 4 star. No complaints for the service or atmosphere for the type of restaurant that this is. Clean and courteous as expected.

Renovations to the Acorn were well-done, and the new hours are great. Nice selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner options. The staff are top-notch, very friendly! Do miss the Acorn, but suspect this will attract some additional customers off the highway for Fen's.

We decided to give Denny's a try, 3 of us went for dinner, we were seated fairly promptly and the server took our order after informing us of all the food items that were not available as they ran out of stock. The time between ordering and receiving our meals was almost 45 minutes, way too long, Being celiac, the gluten free options are very limited. When the meal finally arrived, the soup was overly thick and not hot, it was more like pudding not cream of. Then the main meal arrived, it looked appetizing then I took my first bite, the potatoes and vegetables were barely warm, the chicken to me was not real" chicken

4 of us ordered breakfast. 2 reg coffee, one decaf and one water. That order came out wrong. Then, only 1 of the 4 breakfasts ordered came out correctly. Wrong meats, wrong potatoes, raw whites on one set of eggs, no toast,1 breakfast missing then came out wrong then came out after the rest of us were done our meals. My correct potatoes came out after I was all done as well. Waitress argued eggs were not raw just over easy to my daughter's boyfriend who is a breakfast cook. I do believe it was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had to pay money for. Will not go back to waste more money there. Amazingly horrible experience. Still stunned not kidding.

Was there for breakfast. The only good thing was the 9 grain pancakes. Coffee is no better then swill, bacon is so thin and crispy there is little or no taste, you don't chew it, you just put it in your mouth and it falls apart!¡ the sausages are OK but nothing special. Asked for over hard got over easy. Will never be back!

Congratulations to the new addition..Denny's in Lake George. Denny's is a staple in any city we've lived in. Awesome service, very clean and hard working staff. Food is tasty and delicious as expected. However, cost and portions of food doesn't coincide with what I'm use to receiving. I didn't take pictures as to insult..however please reconsider portions when plating.

My server was very patient and kind when I couldn’t decide! The cali club was delicious and the smoothie as well! Definitely coming back! Very clean restaurant and great service!
