I moved to Rockwood approximately one year ago and do most of my grocery shopping at this Foodland. The store is relatively small, but it carries everything you need, including an LCBO section. The prices tend to be higher in comparison to other grocery stores. I try to purchase most of what I need here as I like to support local businesses; however, I do venture elsewhere when I need a specialty item or get a great sale. The staff is always helpful and friendly!

This grocery store did not have much room to walk around. If you're claustrophobic, you might want to avoid this place. They don't have plastic bags, so the cashier put my things in a paper bag, which ended up breaking open, and my groceries fell out all over the road and under my car. If you're going to shop here, make sure to bring your reusable bags.

First time going to this establishment today and we went because they had whole chickens on sale. When we arrived however they were all out and upon asking about them the produce manager came out and lowered the price on some similar organic products and it made the trip there completely worth it. The cashier was friendly and it was a great shopping experience all around. It's a smaller grocer so it has a small town family feel and everyone is nice. If you want to avoid the depressing stressful trip to boxstores like Walmart or Costco take a few minutes and make the trip to foodland everyone there is happier and it will make your errands a little easier.

Such a great, little store for a small town! Delicious fresh items and salads, very friendly and efficient staff, and a well-chosen beer and wine section, too! Very grateful for this little gem in my (new) small town!

Very friendly hometown staff! Prices are a little high and not a big variety of options but they always have sales and having them here in Rockwood, with the hours they have, is very convenient. I shop there a lot! Having the LCBO section is also convenient. Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful! They have also implemented lots of personal protection systems and protocols for COVID-19.

People thought (strongly enough to write the newspaper), the prices were a rip off 20 years ago, they're ridiculous now. The pre-made stuff is good, decent quality food. The young staff also do a good job here.We have people starving themselves to save money on food, in a country with a single payer health care system.

Small community grocery store for all the essentials. Tight isles and cash out area. LCBO inside for alcohol convenience as well. I don't drink, but would assume that it's only the most popular selections available due to size restrictions. Grocery prices are high due to convenience and location to Rockwood camping grounds.
