AVOID THIS PLACE. Usually I don’t write such long reviews but I’m hoping to help someone not make the same mistake I did.1. Very disorganized, no protocols, can’t trust them to give you the best treatment if they mix up your files and test results.2. They only care about taking your money with a weird policy that only 75% of fees are refundable after a certain stage in your cycle, whereas other places only charge you for the services done and not take a % anyways. You have to pay upfront for all procedures by Day 3 of your cycle, and Vivian Cong will give you a very difficult time with getting your money back.3. Technology and procedures offered are outdated. IVF medicine is very expensive ~$10K, if you spend that kind of money you want to go to the best that will get you results (Anova Fertility is much better but you don’t really get to see the doctors).4. Dr. Peter Leung claims to be the 1st IVF doctor in Canada but he made a mistake in his “recommendations” and won’t own up.5. Doctors don’t follow or have a protocol, they change the medication on a whim when I ask them questions which really doesn’t give a patient confidence.6. Staff only covers up and is very unprofessional. One of the blood work technicians wears her slippers all day long at both locations and clearly doesn’t take her job seriously.7. They make you go to the Kennedy location and close the Thornhill location whenever they want, not prioritizing their patients well being as timing is very important in the cycle.8. Heard from my Family Doctor she had to previously pull 2 of her patients out of IVF Canada and also from my Naturopathic Doctor she’s heard bad things from her patients too. Wish I knew this before wasting my time and money here.

A huge thank you to the whole team at ivf canada esp Shyna and Olga. I was not in the best state when I came for my ER today and you guys couldn't have been more caring and considerate and lovely, saying and doing all the right things to get me through it. I am so thankful to you all. I don't think I could have done it without the amazing support you provided. So so so very grateful

Receptionists were very friendly. Clinic staff was professional and took the time to make sure I understood my freezing program well. Had an exceptional and comfortable experience!

I want to share my experience if this helps anyone else out, on making a decision to seek services from IVF Canada Markham. Recently we went to IVF canada and they did not ask us to to show any ID to prove we where the right patients. Protocol normally would assure you have the right person for the procedure. We had our embryo transfer with our surrogate in which they let us ( intended parents) wait in the waiting room and did not let us come in. We traveled 14 hours to be there. Our surrogate’s first transfer, she was not allowed a support person and she was rushed though the whole process. After the transfer she was given instruction about post transfer care in which was questionable. Overall I wish I had a better experience than this. We wasted so much money to travel to be there in person. Motel, gas and time off just to wait in a waiting room while our surrogate was left feeling rushed and not supported.

The best IVF clinic in GTA with a great friendly professional staff of doctors (especially, Dr. Abdel-Hadi), receptionists (especially, Caroline), nurses (especially, Olga and Misty), and ultrasound specialists (Elena and Simona). Dr. Abdel-Hadi is one of the best doctors we have met in our life, he is very knowledgeable, encouraging, modest, and calm. He supported us along the way, patiently addressing all our concerns, and made our dream come true. After multiple rejections at other clinics, IVF Canada was the only one that accepted us, gave us hope, and fulfilled our dream. We do not have enough words to express our gratitude to IVF Canada’s wonderful team and wish everyone there all the best! Go there, and your dreams will come true as well!

IVF Canada service was amazing. Doctor Au Leung was probably the most informative doctor I have ever visited in my lifetime. He took the time to explain everything in the simplest of terms that makes you comfortable about this journey you will be pursuing. The staff were prompt with email, communication and timing.

It’s a beautiful clinic but the underground parking can get hectic at times because it shared by multiple buildings. Most of the staff here are great, but the receptionist with a European accent could be a bit more sensitive to patients as she is either rushing you or putting you on hold and is artificially cheery even when you tell her you just had a miscarriage and want to speak to the nurse.The clinic is pretty good at communicating, but you do still have be on top of things as some small stuff will get missed at times that you will have to call for. I don’t know if their procedures and technologies are the most up to date, so I think that you have to do a bit of your own research and try to advocate for some things. They have a patient portal but it only seems to show you appointment times and nothing else. Would be more useful if they shared blood test results or follicle sizes in there like I've seen some other clinics have. Overall my experience has been good here.

I did my egg retrieval here yesterday (I am a patient at a different clinic) and I must say, that the nurses were incredible. So kind and compassionate. Still waiting on final results, but our fertilization rate exceeded my expectations. If I were looking for a new clinic, I would go here.

the nurses didn’t let me to lie down after transferring the embryo even for couple of minutes. I am too disappointed
