The most significant decision one makes when renovating is choosing the right contractor. I unfortunately made the wrong choice by hiring Venture Pacific — and have been paying for that mistake for over a year. Error after error, zero accountability, and mounting excuses resulted in a nightmare renovation that continues to keep me up at night. My advice is to RUN AWAY!

Building this sentimental dream home for my family and I is the biggest financial decision in my life. The process and result of this project is critical as it will set the tone for our family's standard of living in the future. I spoke to many management companies regarding this project but did not feel confident enough to execute. Until I met with Mark and Matt at Venture Pacific. They have been accommodating due to my busy schedule, they have been hand holding me on this journey due to the lack of knowledge I have in this space, they have been professional, but most importantly, they have given me their best efforts to work within my financial means.Looking forward to finishing Project Cecilia.

We have worked for Mark and Venture Pacific for many years installing landscapes for the houses that they build. For the past three years I have worked alongside Venture Pacific as a volunteer resident rep on a $1.4 million renovation to our Strata Clubhouse. The 40 year old building includes an indoor pool, washrooms/change rooms, gym, meeting rooms and a 30 seat bar / grill. Venture Pacific helped us at each stage from design decisions, to budget management all the while keeping the volunteer resident committee engaged. They assisted in whatever capacity was required including being available for resident tours, and Strata Meetings. We met several hurdles, as is to be expected in a renovation, but every problem we approached as a team and they helped us reach the right solution! The process has been really enjoyable and very professional. I would highly recommend Venture Pacific!

Venture Pacific renovated my 100 + year old Kitsilano house. From start to finish (even during the challenges of COVID) the process was seamless. Mark Van Ek and his team provided professional and sage advice from the planning stage, right through to the completion of the project. Even when I decided to change the entire heating / cooling system mid-way through the project, Mark accommodated the changes and brought in the contractors to complete the work. Mark's staff were courteous and diligent. His connection to key contractors was a huge advantage. The custom kitchen and cabinetry work is incredible. Venture Pacific uses a software system to keep you informed of the progress of the work. I would not hesitate to recommend Mark and Venture Pacific for any new home construction project or renovation.
