Fraserway RV - Cookstown

Great experience at Fraserway RV from Chantelle Tinney at reception to Shawn Merton, General Manager. Chantelle was expecting us & steered us in the right direction. Shawn took over & instead of leaving our motorhome for service work, he addressed the two issues while we waited. This saved us another 2 hr return trip to pick it up. Thanks to all at Fraserway.

I brought my rv coach to have the warranty work done on the trailer i previously gave keren keren and shawn a list of what needed to be done a month prior to takeing the trailer down and dropping it off to have this work done as they are associated with canada first warranty i insisted befor i brought the trailer down that if ther was anything on the list that couldent be fixed by them that id rather not waist my time sure anuff they call 2 weeks after i brought the trailer to there facility and told me that they dont do warrenty work on trailers... VERRY UNPROFESSIONAL...SHAWN AND KERAN plyed some serious games with me and my wife lots of my time and money waisted.. shawn dont reply to this because knowbody cares how sorry you are.. This is a verry pourly run buisness i hope the owners of the company know how there staff is treating new costomers sincerely verry angry costomer

Wonderful experience. I was a first time RV driver going into this. They were helpful every step of the way. The RV was clean and very nice on the inside, we went to Mikisew Provincial Park (about 2 hours north) with the RV! I had the Class C Large and it's great for 3 people.

Can’t say enough good about Cookstown Fraserway… And we’ve experienced a few RV dealerships.For a variety of reasons, we purchased a particular motorhome model from a Fraserway dealership out of province. Cookstown Fraserway dealership helped facilitate the purchase and licensing.Since bringing it home, we’ve had issues with nearer dealerships, (London, KW areas) despite pre-purchase assurances of warranty service for this model as promised; leaving us high and dry for future warranty fixes & maintenance.We travelled 2.5 hours to Cookstown to correct, fix and troubleshoot the manufacturer warranty issues . The service was outstanding! Sean and Karen were reassuring, kept in touch with us and completed all fixes requested. We were not made to feel they were doing us favours despite this not being the dealership we purchased from.We have learned that it is the people, not the fancy or pretty showrooms that make a good dealership. We also learned that many, many RV dealerships in Ontario are owned by the same corporation and not conducive to providing services unless purchased there.We will return to Fraserway RV for future purchases and recommend this dealership. Tent for sale - we don't need it anymore :) Absolutely great experience, from the start to the end! We are first timers, and got all the necessary information from the staff and the website. When we encountered a small issue with a furnace during our trip, the technical support was able to provide helpful tips to fix it. The RVs are gorgeous, so comfortable and clean! We are already planning our next trip with Fraserway RV. Full five stars *****

It would be no exaggeration to say this was perhaps the most impressive sales and customer service experience of our entire lives. The entire team at Fraserway RV in Cookstown went way overboard to make this a memorable, enjoyable, and smooth transaction.We purchased our dream rig from Fraserway's used rental fleet and imported it to the US: a 2017 Alp Adventurer Quad 4 class C motorhome. Crew cab F550 truck chassis, diesel powertrain, and 4wd. Our salesperson, Ashley, was prompt to communicate via phone, text and email to answer questions, send photos, and provide a video walk around for the rig we were purchasing. Shawn Morton, General Manager, also provided valuable assistance thru the upfront process. We purchased the rig without seeing it in person, then bought one way plane tickets to Toronto. Fraserway picked us up at the airport, despite our late arrival, and we learned our driver, Anthony, who works only seasonally, had been hired back just to pick us up… wow! He was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Shawn even stayed late at work to meet us and ensure we had everything we needed, making many more generous and thoughtful accommodations for us not mentioned here.We completed the sales transaction the next day. The rig was beautifully presented and meticulously cleaned (thank you, Marnie!). The truck looked brand new and the camper was in exceptional condition, despite having spent 5+ years as a rental. Normal nicks and dings to be expected. Shawn spent hours going over the ins and outs of the rig with us, even fixing a few minor QC issues. To our pleasant surprise, the camper was abundantly stocked with provisions for trip home: dishes, utensils, pots/pans, towels, bedding, you name it… everything and much more than we could possibly need. Again, wow! This was a tremendous gesture and so greatly appreciated. Fraserway had also prepared extensive documentation to assist with customs/border crossing*.Unfortunately, we encountered several issues on the return trip home. We had a check engine light come on en route home, a furnace problem, and a failed back up camera. We called Shawn at Fraserway, who made some calls to his mechanics and calmly assured us he’d take care of things once we make it home safely. Understanding we bought a used rig, we were nervous and uncertain for expectations ahead. To our utter gratitude, Fraserway… more specifically, Shawn Morton… covered the cost for the thousands of dollars of needed repairs. What a true stand-out, honorable individual and company!!We would whole heartedly and emphatically recommend anyone in the market for an RV or related need seek out Fraserway Cookstown, ON, Canada for your purchase. We are certain you will be well taken care of with the utmost professionalism and integrity. Shawn and Ashley, you both did SO MUCH MORE for us than is mentioned here, and we are exceedingly grateful. From the four of us, THANK YOU SO MUCH for the remarkable, memorable experience of a lifetime!!*Tips for US buyers: DO YOUR HOMEWORK!! Check your local DMV import/registration requirements ahead of time, read through the US Customs & Border Protection website to gain understanding of the process and documentation, and reach out to both OEM (chassis) and RV manufacturers for certification of origin and compliance letter (emissions, safety) documents. Also, PREPARE A CHECKLIST OF REQUIRED IMPORT DOCUMENTS AHEAD OF TIME before crossing the border!! We were cleared to enter the US by the border patrol agent but had to speak up to ask where to go to get necessary import paperwork completed. Had we missed this critical step, we'd have ended up with a real mess on our hands getting back home and attempting to register the vehicle. It is evident that your average border patrol agent is simply unaware of the process and documentation when it comes to import regulations, so your own due diligence, knowledge (and patience!) is extremely important to ensure a successful experience. If you are not the detailed type, consider hiring a professional broker for this.

Recently purchased a 22' class b RV from Shawn and team at Fraserway. What an amazing company to deal with . They treat you like family, no pressure sales and amazing service! Had a small sensor problem mechanically ,no questions asked they fixed it timely..Highly recommend ..

Will never recommend this dealership to anyone. Was given the runaround to get my fridge replaced under warranty for 10 months then they tell me fridges in trailers don't run on 15 amps. I wasn't born yesterday. Friends used to go here and never went back because of there service. Pretty sad a place like this doesn't work with ppl to solve issues just pushes them away with there lies.

My wife and I purchased a used Hideaway recently and we have been impressed with the sales, service and customer experienceWe had a complete walk around the trailer on pick up and the unit was so clean that we felt it was new, assistance and guidance on using the weight distribution hitch was also providedWe had one small warranty issue with front electric Jack and again this was handled in amazing time with smilesThanks we are loving it having just returned from a week up north
