Price of fruits same as you'd pay at the regular supermarkets. Except Maxi which is slightly cheaper. Not worth another trip. Farmers markets used to be cheaper than grocery stores now they're all the same. Sticking to Maxi.

I would expect a local farmer’s market to use less plastic packaging, to help produce less waste. But at Jean-Brillant market it’s the opposite, there are packagings for the discounted items, and berries, herbs, mushrooms, carrots. There is no the difference between Metro and this Farmer’s market, unfortunately…

story of the lemonone lemon has gone bad, i saw it at the cash. i kindly asked the lady if it’s possible to switch it, if not it’s fine by me. she asks her colleague in the back. her colleague was rude, it was unbelievable. i asked and she had a choice. before she lets me go grab a better one she said in sigh: “ugh yé toujours bon mais va y, prend un citron de la boîte d’en bas”. i used to go there bi-weekly, but now i’m reluctant. quoi, le service ça s’achète maintenant?!
