Terrible experience with this insurance company on multiple occasions. Gave them the benefit of the doubt that it was from a poor employee the first couple times, but then they allowed my house insurance to lapse without contacting me, while this happening with a different employee. Finally had enough and went elsewhere. Wish I had done it years ago as we were then quoted over $1000 less per year by the fantastic competing company.

Harbord insurance might be the best insurance company in Victoria. They do the right thing for their customers when it really matters. A mistake when renewing our car insurance meant that our hit and run deductible increased from $300 to $750 and we weren’t offered the option to keep it at $300 for only $8 for the year. Then our vehicle got backed into, no note. I called harbord to ask why my deductible had gotten so high and the mistake was found. Harbord stepped up and covered the $450 difference, which they were not obligated to do. They have me as a customer for life now.

I wanted to bring a car from Ontario and get it licensed for the road. I initially dealt with Raman and she was helpful, friendly and professional. She also referred me to Ruben and Lily for the final phase of the inspection, licensing, and regular insurance and they were also helpful, friendly, professional, knowledgeable and made it feel like VIP service as we jumped through all the steps to get the car ready to join our family. All of my cars are with Harbord and my home insurance as well.

Greg Neufeldt was fantastic in helping me in a time crunch! He even emailed me on a Saturday, keeping me updated on all things important. He was prompt and available until everything was taken care of. I also got more coverage than my previous insurer, for less money. Very, very happy that my classic sailboat is being taken care of. She knew I was shopping around for quotes but she wasn't pushy or rude about it, she was professional in every way.
