Good Shepherd Venture Centre Food Bank
Good selection of food and reasonably helpful staff, but the user experience is terrible. They give everyone the same appointment time, forcing a long line up outside the building in all types of weather and then long delays once inside. Instead, they could split the day's visitors into 3 distinct time groups to reduce unnecessary wait times that might be difficult for guests with different levels of mobility

Always has a good selection of groceries for those in need. Groceries will do you most of the month. For low income families.

most of the food is spoiled. you really gotta pick through it. got sick off some stuff here. but hey it is what it is they probably only get so much from trudumb.

Awesome people trying to help and understand your needs. Very friendly and nonjudgemental. They have food, clothes for all ages and other small household items. (Remember to bring photo ID, proof of address and income statement)

I went and overwhelmed at the kindness and help of the people there. The options were so far beyond my expectations. I came home and realized the impact concern of having no food had been having on me. I felt not only that I had food but that I had choices. All food groups were covered. The cleanliness and organization was outstanding. I felt overwhelmed with gratitude.

I had a great experience at the centre. Great for Canadian new comers and the staff are friendly. The volunteers are amazing too.
