I was desperately in need of a rare igniter module for my oven last week. As always, I reached out to Valerie at Appliance Shack and she identified the part number, ordered it and I had it installed in less than 48 hours.Great service, very knowledgeable and super helpful.I have been dealing with appliance shack for over 30 years and their level of service has stayed the same throughout the years.Thank you Valerie for saving me from buying a new oven which would set me back about $3000, keep up the good work.

Dealt with a lady there, had issues with my dryer. First part didn’t work tried another and now I have heat. Had some questions regarding the part and if they didn’t have them they got them and called me right back. Long story short they either had stock or were able to get stock and were easy to deal with!!!

I purchased a couple of small parts for my Kitchen Aid Fridge. They were accommodating, fast and efficient. Some of the reviews they’ve received here are ridiculously unfair and petty. Give them a shot; you won’t be disappointed.

Had the part I needed for my dishwasher and were very helpful and friendly over the phone! They put a quote right into the system with the part I wanted when I called so when I arrived to pick up I just had to give them my name. Very easy and convenient.

I tried to buy a Bosch dishwasher drain pump from this store. I gave them all the information (model year serial number ect). Special order paid in advance. Part came in 3 days later, wrong part was told no refund. They said adapter was required, ordered adapter, 1 week later, wrong part again. At this point i'm on my 4th trip to the store. Argued over and over and over, basically called a liar and told its going to take time. Would not give me owners name or escalate. They refunded the adapter but would not refund the pump. Even though she saw both pumps side by side which are clearly different, she said i'm entitled to my own opinion. Called Uwe in Barrie explained the situation, she agreed to refund. Then told me the part is in store (stock part), went back. Its not a Bosch original but rather a cheap piece of junk you can get on ebay for $49.00. So 6 trips later, still no pump or apology from this store. Found the right pump online from easy appliance parts. The reply below is not factual. Full stop.

I have been a customer here for years and quite often have had decent service. But, today I arrived at 1:59 and was refused service because they close at two. One would think that a minute of their time would solidify their reputation and show care for their business, but you can be sure that I will be telling this story. I will source my parts elsewhere.

These guys are great! Open to the public. They have saved me a lot of money and can save you money too if you are handy and can fix it yourself. I recommend calling ahead to make sure that they have what you need. They will put it aside for you if you are coming right in to pick it up.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE EITHER IN BARRIE OR ESPECIALLY IN NEWMARKET. I purchased 4 packages of plastic wheels for my Kitchen Aid Dishwasher at a cost of $40.38 per package not including tax, total paid was $182.52. The purchase was made on Saturday July 6th. They were returned on Monday July 8th,first thing in the morning, (not opened). I was charged a $32.30 restocking fee. I was appalled that I was being charged for returning 4 small packages. I understand that large parcels that would require a forklift to place back in stock that a fee should be charged. I was told that those 4 packages have to be send back to the warehouse,LOL, due to inventory procedures. Do they not have a computer to return back to stock ?????? Highway ROBBERY I say. To make matters worse Amazon is selling the same product for $13.00 per package total of four would be almost the same as the RESTOCKING FEE.BE AWARE they are also liars. There is no warehouse outside of Barrie it is there other store. Imagine, they are sending back to Barrie 4 small packages just so they can replenish the store back in Newmarket , I SAY BULL..... CASH GRAB. SHAME ON YOU!!!!!I have bought different things for my other appliances from these people for years, but will now buy elsewhere.CHECK AMAZON BEFORE BUYING!
