Master Phinney is amazing coach not only in taekwodno but also in life. He is someone I look up to , he always pushes for positivity , success and determination . In the first 6 months of training with him , he helped me transform completely. He took 10 years of my training and completely revamped my skills and my mentality in the sport. He is an icon , a true mentor and someone with expertise beyond a coach for his age to have . Master Phinney is a legend.Ps. He also holds his professionalism to a high degree , he understands boundaries , he makes everyone around him feel comfortable. As a woman in sport , I have never had a coach treat me as respectfully as master Phinney.

Master Phinney was our sons instructor for 4 years and brought him from a white belt beginner all the way to a purple belt. Want to express appreciation of Master Phinney’s work as a Taekwondo coach. My 10 year old daughter has been in his classes in Master Chu’s studio for 6 months now and we are truly enjoying and cherishing these classes.
