Incredibly delicious (and yes, sweet, but it's in the name) desserts. I've been coming here for many years and I really appreciate that they're a dedicated nut-free bakery; also, I'm consistently wowed by the quality of their goods. Last time I was there I got a Basque cheesecake and I still find my mind wandering to it sometimes... unreal.

I was driving down Avenue road one day and saw this little gem and it got me thinking...why not try it? So I went home and googled them just to make sure I got the name right. The next day I went to the store and was amazed by the cupcakes and their twice baked cookies. All this happened 3 years ago.Fast forward to today, My wife and I love this place. These guys/gals have the best cupcakes in the country. I've even got my friends and families hooked on them.Keep up the amazing work everyone! :)

Excellent!! Got a cake from them for my nieces 4th birthday and she absolutely loved it. The sprinkles falling out of the cake made her day and everyone loved the taste as well. It was the perfect level of sweetness….usually I can’t stand cake icing because I find it too sweet but this cake was so good I ate everything. The ordering process was smooth and the customer service was fantastic. Worth every penny we spent. Make sure to grab the fountain candle as well. Highly recommend~ (PS: The cupcakes and cookies we grabbed for the drive home were delicious too!!)

Despite making lofty promises about their service and delivery timeframes, they consistently failed to live up to their own claims. Each time I attempted to inquire about the status of my order, I was met with nothing but excuses and empty apologies. It became evident that their promises were nothing more than empty words, leaving customers like myself hanging in a state of perpetual uncertainty.Furthermore, the insulting behavior exhibited by the company's staff was nothing short of appalling. Instead of acknowledging their own shortcomings or providing any form of assistance, they resorted to personal attacks and insults. It was as if they believed they were doing me a favor by allowing me to be their customer. At first I thought I was crazy to spend $36 on 6 cookies but these cookie sammies from Short & Sweet exceeded my expectations!! Cookies are so soft and they are massive! I didn't expect to pick up a BOX of cookies when I ordered 6.Just an FYI these cookies are VERY sweet and the icing might be a little unbearable for some people lol myself included but this was a treat and if you're like me and love putting everything in the freezer lol these freeze well. You'll just need to warm them up in the microwave for like 15-30 seconds to get them softer

Short & Sweet Bakeshop is a must see bakery in Toronto. Their cookie sandwiches are amazing and so are the variety of bars and cupcakes. Be sure to check it out!

Amazing birthday cake! My daughter and her friends had a blast seeing the sprinkles fall out! Great taste very natural!

Got the dulce de leche cupcake and it was horrible. The icing was unbearably sweet and the cake was soo dry. Not to mention the dulce de leche part was just a swirl of caramel and caramel in the middle. Very lacklustre.

Ordered an 8” double chocolate cake plus 2 dozen vanilla and chocolate cupcakes for my son’s basketball themed birthday. Communication over email was great despite the bakery calling a few times. They were gracious with some back and forth on my part owing to our change in headcount for the party. Most importantly the cake was a hit!! I’m more of a vanilla cupcake person but the icing on the chocolate cake was spectacular. My son said it was the best tasting cake he’s ever had (knocked the LaRocca red velvet off the #1 position) and all our guest were very happy. The cakes were beautiful and delicious!Having a kid with a severe nut allergy, it’s a bonus to find a bakery that is fully nut free. Looking forward to the next reason to stop in for a treat!

Best birthday cake I've ever had. I WILL be only returning on my birthday. A friend recommended this place, and they sure were right.
