So after much thought and seeing other's reviews I decided to try out this restaurant. I had deshi food specially kacchi and motor polaw after a long time.I got the same taste of morog polaw as back in my home country. It was finger-licking.But they need to work more on their kacchi.I also had the best chotpoti and tea from there.Their service was extremely good. They also served me complementary jorda which was very yummy. All the food was beyond awesome. Must drop by if you are nearby to get some authentic Bangla foods.

Kolapata’s food is delicious. We had kichuri, dal, shutki vorta, rice and beef chap, beef vuna and tea. Authentic Bengali food, which we have enjoyed. Service is amazing as well. Staffs are very friendly. Must go place.

One of the best Bangladeshi Restaurants in London, located near Whitechapel to Rail station. The foods in this restaurant are very tasty. If you want to enjoy authentic Bangladeshi foods i will highly recommend this restaurant.

Dined solo alone and the service was great. Additionally the food was delicious. I really enjoyed the chili peppers on the side to make it extra spicy!

Amazing bangla food. Authentic to Bangladeshi cuisine. No indian style pretentious food. Had morog polao, elish bhaja, bhorta and cha. Cha and bhortas are out of the world. The waiters are so polite, food came quickly.

We ordered Grilled lamb chops, sheek kebab, grilled chicken with nan and salad. Tarka dahl and Dupiaza.One of the best and cheapest Bangladeshi restaurant in London.

Very good Bangladeshi food. Had the Fuchka, Chot poti and kebabs shared with family. Kebabs and Chot poti were incredibly flavoursome. Fuchka was nice but not quite hit the expectation.Also rather strangely was told I could have a tea with milk but not a black tea.Overall though good meal and atmosphere.

I like the way they present our culture with a Bengali vibe is magnificent. My only problem was the food. we had some starters (Chotpoti )& phuchka which were very dry . got Murgh Pulao and Kacchi Biryani for takeaway. The takeaway food was off and smelly when we heated it. we had to throw them away.

Craving some deshi food? It's the place for you.My first time here, tried fuchka, beef khichuri, kacchi biryani, sheek kabab. To top it off, a glass of borhani (most likely the only place that serve borhani).But couldn't try the vaat, vorta platter, goru bhuna, bhuri etc.Definitely coming back here!

The food and the service was excellent. Felt like I was back home in Bangladesh! The fuchka was very fresh and had beautiful flavours and the chaap was incredible. Will come back again when there's a chance inshaAllah
