The employee who helped me was sk kind and friendly. I had a rain check and she found the items for me with no problem. She could see I was having trouble walking and was in pain do she did whatever she could do to make my shopping experience better. I wish I knew her name because she was very kind to me before when I had shopped there. Occasionally you will get an employee working there who is rude or completely clueless about what you need but usually they are very good. I went in a few weeks ago asking for a certain tap adapter. An employee from another department knew what exactly what I was talking about but said the guy from that department can help you find everything you need. Well he was wrong. I explained it several times to this guy and he was clueless. I finally found something that I thought might be what I needed and showed it to him and explained again why I needed that or something like that and he still didn't understand. I was going to get the part that I found until I seen the price. I said I will have to check somewheres else to see if I can get it cheaper. I went to a plumbing shop the next day and got what I needed for cheaper. Normally you pay less for something at a hardware store than a plumbing shop especially since it was just a tap adapter I needed. Home Hardware is usually pretty good at having employees that are polite and knue the products they have and can understand what you are looking for but that day I got the employee who doesn't know his department or products and I know he has worked there for awhile now.

Best place for knowledgeable and friendly staff

Received no help from anyone, after I found what I was looking , I needed to have it cut. (A 25 x 47") For a small bookcase I was told

Great store, very knowledgeable staff. You go in there, an employee will ask what you need, take you there directly and help you find what you need. It seems like every employee knows exactly what they have and where it is. A very serviceable Home Hardware.

You can not walk through this store without being greeted by all the staff members! A truly friendly place. I would come here for any advice on home maintenance and repair topics that I am unfamiliar with, the staff seem very knowledgeable and confident.This is also my favourite place to buy Christmas decor and lights! They have great prices for lights especially.

Great little local store friendly staff that are always willing to assist in any way possible

I love browsing through here and finding cute and useful little things for the house. And, we found the largest selection of bathroom vanity sinks here and I just bought one that I really like and is a great deal!

I fully understand that you hate your life but perhaps if you also hate your job you should quit. Tonight I was working on a project and needed 5 screws. I knew this Charlottetown Home Hardware location had them in stock because the website showed stock. When I entered the store a very rude short overweight woman approached me and immediately said "no we don't stock 5" only 4". I then located the 5" screws myself and left the store thinking
