Medicentres Family Care Clinics

My experience is very bad, the nurses have not have the right attitude to take to patients. Even they don't understand how much pain the patient is having. I am seeing a doctors here from decades but they don't have any respect for them

This is the BEST of the Medicenters! I just saw Dr. Aditi and I feel so cared for. She was so considerate and informative- everything you want from a healthcare professional, especially a Doctor! I remember now I went there in 2018 and had a great experience too so this is definitely the ONLY Medicenter I go to from now on!

My boyfriend went in to get a tetanus shot. He sat and waited for an hour in the room before the doctor saw him. This doctor knew he needed a tetanus shot, and instead of giving him what he came for - the doctor referred him for an x-ray (????) and then just left! There’s a completely lack of coordination and organization here. If you want to waste your time, go here. If not (especially with medical questions) just find someone else more capable.

Poor experience.Showed up on a Sunday at their opening time to find that over 35 patients were registered already. They have a single doctor that is booked with appointments while serving walk-in patients. This means you might not even get to see the doctor the same day If all the appointments show up. This is a very poor system and I will not be visiting medicentres anymore because this isn't my first poor experience.

Dr. E/M Shaker are the best doctors in the city. The receptionist is also very nice and they have a great fast-track system.

Update: To the receptionist who cancelled my appointment while I was waiting over an hour for care. You are terrible and need to reconsider working in a new environment. No accountability in your mistakes and lacking any communication for being a simple receptionist. I'd say do better but the complete experience I had today leaves little faith in that. Worst Medicentre in the city, go ANYWHERE else for quality care. See my review below for a full picture.Atrocious service and lack of any professionalism. Avoid booking online as reception lacks any ability to meaningfully interpret these requests. You'll be kept waiting in a cramped waiting room where they let kids run around without acknowledging the parents inability to watch them. The phone is kept ringing and when you believe a mistake has been made the front desk will pass blame on anyone but themselves. Hands down the worst Medicentre experience I've ever had in this city. AVOID at all costs if you care about proper care.

I personally had a great experience! Came in with two things and both got taken care of. Waiting time was just like any other walk in clinic you’ll go.

Horrible experience. I needed three referrals for work and all three referrals were not filled out properly. Trying to get through to talk to someone on the phone is frustrating. After waiting in the cue 6 times over three days and being hung up on everytime.... I gave up. I'll go somewhere else. This place sucks.

Use as a last resort, start with low expectations, and confirm there is staff available to see patients for the entirety of working hours.We took our son here as a walk-in patient, on the advice of my Mom who previously had a reasonable experience (also as a walk-in). We called the office prior to going and the receptionist over the phone confirmed A) the clinic was accepting walk in patients and B) were open until 8pm. They also shared the wait time ~1 hour. We arrived at 6:30pm and waited until 7:15 when we were told the Dr had left because they were only scheduled to work until 6:45pm and had to get home. Without another Dr on-site to see patients we were told that we wouldn't be seeing a Dr and needed to leave.It was frustrating and maddening to call ahead, be told we would be able to see a Dr only to have our time wasted sitting waiting with a sick child due to poor resource management.

On April 11, 2023, 2:24pm I called Ellerslie Medicenter to book an appointment, the lady on the line told me that I dont need an appointment to get a prescription. The next day, I left work early arrived at the clinic. Was told wait times is more than an hour.I say again, I called to book an appointment"
