It's a great park with alot of sport infrastructures, such as score, roller hockey (if I'm not mistaking) and a play ground for the kids!!! The oak trees are amazing.

Apparently you are not allowed to set up a tent or shelter or anything to prevent (even if temporary) the person/persons against the elements and apparently there is a Bylaw that states that there is an expectation that if you reside in BC that you can only camp in Vic if you are homeless. But if you live say in the southern gulf islands you cannot visit Victoria unless you have an established place to reside while here.....that's whacked
